Crypto ETFs Face Continued Outflows as Investors Shed Risk
U.S. cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs) experienced sustained pressure in the week ending October 16, with Bitcoin funds seeing outflows of approximately $229 million and Ether ETFs shedding $320 million.
While the rate of withdrawals slowed compared to the preceding week, selling activity was observed across all major ETFs as investors continued to de-risk their portfolios. The overall outflows for crypto ETFs decreased by 52%, though selling persisted across the leading funds.
