Real Finance Taps Anchorage Digital for Institutional On-Chain Capital Markets

Real Finance and Anchorage Digital Forge Strategic Alliance to Bolster Institutional On-Chain Markets

Real Finance, an EVM-compatible Layer-1 blockchain designed for real-world asset tokenization, has announced a strategic partnership with Anchorage Digital, the United States’ first federally chartered crypto bank. The collaboration, which also includes a qualified institutional custodian, aims to establish the regulated infrastructure essential for institutional-scale tokenized finance.

As real-world assets increasingly migrate onto the blockchain, financial institutions are seeking more than just the foundational technology for tokenization. The current tokenized asset ecosystem is characterized by fragmentation across various sectors, presenting significant hurdles for maturation into functional on-chain capital markets. Institutions frequently cite operational trust and disconnected counterparties as primary barriers to progress.

This partnership is designed to directly address these challenges. It integrates Anchorage Digital’s expertise in regulated custody, treasury management, settlement, and institutional security with Real Finance’s permissionless yet compliant issuance layer, lifecycle management tools, native risk visibility, and programmable financial primitives. The overarching objective is to construct a unified, institutional-grade framework that encompasses the entire lifecycle of tokenized assets, from compliant issuance and secure custody to servicing, settlement, and secondary liquidity.

The collaboration is also geared towards long-term strategic alignment across several key areas, including the development of regulated infrastructure for the future financial system. By connecting blockchain networks, regulated custody providers, financial institutions, and asset originators, this infrastructure will enable tokenized private credit, funds, real estate, structured products, and bank-integrated financial tools to operate with the operational trust and cohesion that institutions require.

Ivo Grigorov, CEO of Real Finance, stated, “Real Finance and Anchorage Digital are collaboratively building the institutional infrastructure for the next generation of tokenized financial markets. Tokenization alone is not enough. Institutions need trusted, regulated layers that integrate custody, servicing, settlement, and lifecycle management. Together we are moving the industry from experimentation toward functional on-chain capital markets and delivering the unified experience institutions demand.”

Nathan McCauley, co-founder and CEO of Anchorage Digital, added, “RWAs are one of the clearest examples of how blockchain can modernize capital markets, but institutions need more than tokenization rails alone. They need regulated, secure infrastructure that can support custody, settlement, and lifecycle connectivity at scale. Our partnership with Real Finance brings together the core building blocks institutions need to move from isolated pilots to real onchain capital markets.”

Zcash Patches Critical Orchard Flaw, ZEC Defends $600

Zcash Deploys Emergency Upgrade to Patch Critical Double-Spending Vulnerability

Zcash has successfully patched a critical vulnerability within its privacy-focused infrastructure that could have potentially allowed for double-spending. The network underwent an emergency upgrade to prevent any exploitation of the flaw.

Critical Bug Discovered in Orchard Pool

On Wednesday, the Zcash Foundation announced that developers had resolved a significant vulnerability affecting the Orchard shielded pool. This flaw could have permitted invalid state transitions, thereby enabling the double-spending of funds within the pool.

The vulnerability was reportedly discovered on May 29 by Zcash researcher Taylor Hornby, who is conducting an ongoing protocol audit for Shielded Labs. Hornby identified a critical soundness vulnerability in the Orchard zero-knowledge proof circuit and immediately disclosed the issue to Zcash Open Development Lab (ZODL) core engineers on the same day.

“A soundness vulnerability is one that could allow the system to accept something it should reject,” the foundation explained. “In this case, successful exploitation could have allowed the Orchard pool to accept invalid state transitions, potentially permitting double-spending of funds within Orchard, though with no ability to inflate the total ZEC supply, which is protected by Zcash’s turnstile mechanism.”

    Coordinated Response and Network Upgrade

Following the discovery, Zcash developers, miners, and infrastructure operators collaborated in a private, coordinated effort to develop and deploy a fix. Details were kept confidential to mitigate the risk of exploitation.

An initial soft fork attempt encountered technical challenges. However, engineers swiftly released a revised patch that was successfully activated on June 2, temporarily suspending Orchard-related transactions. On June 3, the network completed a full hard fork upgrade, designated NU6.2, which restored Orchard functionality with the corrected code, permanently resolving the vulnerability.

The Foundation stated that there is no evidence the bug was exploited, as no unauthorized value creation was detected. They also affirmed that the total ZEC supply remains secure and that the issue did not compromise the privacy of funds held in any Zcash pool.

    Network Confusion Amidst Upgrade

Following the upgrade, reports of the Zcash network being offline circulated on social media, causing confusion among community members. Some claimed that Zcash had failed to produce blocks for over four hours.

However, Mert Mumtaz, CEO of Solana infrastructure firm Helius, refuted these claims, stating that the network was never down and that explorer applications were connected to a faulty node.

CipherScan, a Zcash blockchain explorer, confirmed the issue via a series of posts on X, explaining that its nodes were undergoing upgrades to support the recent NU6.2 network upgrade. “What actually happened: Zcash pushed a coordinated network upgrade (NU6.2) that required all node operators to update. During that transition, some block explorers, including ours, showed stale or missing data while we upgraded,” the post stated. “That’s the explorer being out of sync, not the blockchain being broken. Important distinction. (…) Block explorers are just readers. They pull data from a node, parse it, and display it. If the node is upgrading or resyncing, the explorer goes stale.”

ZEC Price Resilience Amidst Market Volatility

Despite the temporary confusion, ZEC’s price demonstrated resilience, rallying over 8% intraday on Wednesday morning to retest the $636 level. The cryptocurrency had surged approximately 20% over the preceding two days while the broader market experienced declines.

After failing to sustain the $630 resistance level, ZEC saw a brief dip toward the $600 support before rebounding. As of this writing, Zcash is trading at $612, marking a 9.5% increase over the past week.

  • Renowned Economist Declares Crypto a ‘Failed’ Asset Class

Renowned Economist Declares Crypto a ‘Failed’ Asset Class

Crypto Largely a Failed Asset Class, But Blockchain Innovation Continues, Says Analyst

Economist and macro trader Alex Krüger has asserted that “crypto” has largely failed as an asset class, despite accelerating adoption of blockchain-based technologies across stablecoins, tokenization, prediction markets, perpetual futures, AI, and privacy-focused assets. In a recent post on X, Krüger drew a clear distinction between the speculative crypto market of past cycles and the segments of the industry he believes are still demonstrating significant traction.

His central argument was stark: most crypto tokens have failed to generate lasting value for their holders, while founders and insiders have repeatedly exploited the sector’s limited regulatory oversight to extract liquidity from retail investors.

“I largely think of ‘crypto’ as a failed asset class at this point,” Krüger stated. “I’ve written about the causes multiple times. Mainly, most crypto assets are worthless, or have dreadful value accrual, and most founders have abused the lack of guardrails and dumped on people indiscriminately, or are outright scammers.”

Krüger attributed further damage to what he termed the “Memecoins SuperBullshitCycle,” describing it as a speculative trend that “brought the worst out of people” and depleted both capital and morale among market participants. He also highlighted the “never-ending wave of DeFi hacks,” which he noted has increased sharply since last April, as another factor undermining crypto’s credibility as an investable asset class.

Krüger Sees Adoption Rising, But Not in “Old Crypto”

The economist acknowledged that his assessment might appear contradictory, given the rapid expansion of several blockchain-linked sectors. He pointed to growing stablecoin adoption, the emergence of openly pro-crypto politicians in the United States, traditional finance’s push to tokenize assets, increased use of equity and commodity perpetuals on offshore and DeFi platforms, the early development of U.S. perpetual futures markets, and the growing presence of prediction markets in everyday information flows.

However, Krüger framed many of these trends as being “more ‘blockchain’ than ‘crypto’,” suggesting that while the infrastructure and application layers may be advancing, the legacy token market remains structurally weak. In his view, the key exceptions are where tokens exhibit clearer links to revenue, user demand, or capital return mechanisms.

“A few among those exceptions even distribute most revenue to holders via buybacks,” he wrote, specifically naming Hyperliquid. “Which is what every investor actually wants to see to be invested in a good business rather than a fleeting narrative.”

This distinction lies at the heart of Krüger’s argument. He is not suggesting that blockchain-based markets are defunct. Instead, he contends that broad, narrative-driven crypto exposure has failed to deliver the value accrual that investors were promised, while a more select group of sectors has begun to resemble operating businesses or infrastructure plays.

    Privacy and AI Stand Out

Krüger identified privacy as one of the few “old school” crypto categories that retains relevance. He argued that demand for private, non-custodial stores of value is genuine, even if some of that demand originates from illicit flows. He referenced the U.S. Department of Justice’s seizure of $15 billion in Bitcoin from Cambodia-linked pig butchering operations, noting that the legal filing was submitted on October 8, 2025.

“Of course, everyone needs privacy, not just criminals, but crime flows are real, and large,” Krüger wrote. “The asset attracting the most flows in this niche is Zcash. Zcash’s recent performance has been fascinating, as it has been trending higher with bitcoin trending lower, a sign of real reallocation among bitcoiners.”

The other category Krüger believes is not dead is AI. However, his view of this sector was selective. He described most AI tokens as “high flying, fundamentally lacking, narrative driven tokens,” while singling out Venice as a standout, which he sees as tied to a private AI platform with growing users and revenue.

This leads Krüger to a more nuanced conclusion than his initial headline claim might suggest. He views the old token market as broken, but not the broader trajectory of crypto-enabled infrastructure. Stablecoins, tokenized assets, prediction markets, perpetual futures, AI, and privacy may constitute the sector’s next investable narrative, provided the associated tokens can demonstrate actual value capture rather than recycled speculation.

“So one could say old ‘crypto’ is a failed asset class,” Krüger wrote, “but from the ashes come new beginnings, and the new face of crypto is one heavily dominated by the needs of Tradfi, prediction markets, AI, and privacy.” His closing remark encapsulated the contradiction he perceives in the market: “Crypto sucks. Long live crypto.”

At press time, the total cryptocurrency market capitalization stood at $2.28 trillion.

  • Evernorth: XRP Fuels Real Banking, More Growth Ahead

Evernorth: XRP Fuels Real Banking, More Growth Ahead

XRP Ledger Activity Surges, Banks Seen as Next Growth Driver

San Francisco, CA – June 3, 2026 – Evernorth, a treasury company focused on XRP, reports a significant surge in daily activity on the XRP Ledger, reaching nearly 3 million transactions. This marks a substantial increase from approximately 1 million transactions in mid-2025. The firm now anticipates that banks and other financial institutions will be the primary source of future demand for the network.

Real Financial Institutions Engaging with XRP Ledger

According to Evernorth, prominent participants on the XRP Ledger over the past year have included Bitstamp, Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin, and Braza Bank. The company asserts that this level of network traffic indicates more than just speculative trading interest, suggesting genuine financial activity is occurring on the ledger.

Asheesh Birla, Evernorth’s chief executive, has previously argued that XRP’s long-term value will stem from its utility for banks and businesses as working capital, rather than its role as a tradable asset. He has also noted a persistent gap between adoption and price, even as usage and tokenization metrics continue to break records. Birla has attributed XRP’s lagging price performance, despite its growth story, to broader macroeconomic pressures, geopolitical tensions, and rising interest rates. This highlights a scenario where network activity can be robust even as the token’s price faces headwinds.

In a recent social media post, Evernorth stated, “For everyone who’s wondered when ‘real banks’ will use blockchain: they already are. The next 18 months will be about how much, on which chains, and under which set of rules. One of Europe’s biggest banks has put its euro stablecoin on XRP. Here’s why that matters.”

    Evernorth’s Strategy for Institutional Adoption

Evernorth is working to facilitate institutional access to this growing ecosystem. Rather than requiring banks and asset managers to manage their own wallets, private keys, and compliance systems, the company offers exposure through its own stock. This approach mirrors that of several publicly traded companies that have amassed significant Bitcoin holdings and provided investors with a familiar market wrapper. Evernorth believes this model simplifies XRP’s accessibility for institutions in terms of holding, funding, and utilization.

Another post from Evernorth emphasized the significance of institutional choices: “When a globally important bank picks public blockchains to host its regulated euro, that’s a vote about which networks they think will host the next phase of money. XRP was one of four chains that made that shortlist.”

The company has announced backing from Ripple, Kraken, Pantera Capital, and SBI Holdings, with total funding exceeding $1 billion. Its S-4 filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, submitted in March 2026, outlines plans to increase XRP holdings through institutional lending, liquidity provision, and activities within the decentralized finance sector on the XRP Ledger.

    Evernorth Prepares for Public Listing

Evernorth, a Ripple-backed XRP treasury firm, has filed updated SEC documents as it progresses toward a Nasdaq debut. The company plans to go public through a merger with Armada Acquisition Corp II. It currently holds over 473 million XRP.

  • Security Veterans Demand Senate Pass CLARITY Act

Security Veterans Demand Senate Pass CLARITY Act

Security Veterans Urge Senate to Advance Crypto Illicit Finance Bill

More than 160 former national security, intelligence, and law enforcement officials are pressing the U.S. Senate to advance the CLARITY Act, asserting that its passage would bolster efforts to combat illicit finance within the cryptocurrency sector.

The appeal, coordinated by the Blockchain Association, was formalized in a letter addressed to Senate Majority Leader John Thune and Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer. The industry group announced the initiative on X, emphasizing that the structure of the digital asset market is a “law enforcement and national security priority.” The letter argues that as cryptocurrency activity continues its global expansion, it is imperative for the United States to establish a regulatory and oversight framework for the industry.

According to the signatories, a failure to do so risks pushing more activity offshore into less transparent markets, making them more difficult for U.S. authorities to monitor and investigate. This, they warn, creates vulnerabilities that can be exploited for illicit financial activities.

“It is critical for the United States that this activity occurs under American rules, with American oversight, and subject to American Law,” the letter states.

The former officials contend that enacting the CLARITY Act would enhance national security, improve the visibility of law enforcement operations, and equip investigators with more robust tools to combat financial crime. This, in turn, would make it more challenging for criminal networks to launder money, circumvent sanctions, and engage in fraud.

Data from the Bank Policy Institute (BPI) indicates a significant surge in illicit crypto flows, which rose by 162% year-on-year last year. The BPI also clarified that the CLARITY Act is not a deregulatory measure but rather aims to strengthen enforcement, enhance compliance accountability, and foster better coordination across digital asset markets.

The proposed legislation would extend the Bank Secrecy Act, imposing compliance requirements on digital commodity brokers, dealers, and exchanges. It would also mandate anti-money laundering obligations, along with reporting and monitoring requirements. Furthermore, the bill includes a Treasury-led pilot program for information sharing among agencies such as the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). It also proposes a permanent interagency working group dedicated to counter-illicit finance initiatives.

The Blockchain Association announced that its members and other industry participants are scheduled to visit Washington, D.C., for a series of meetings across 18 Senate offices. The group is also planning a virtual town hall later this week to discuss the CLARITY Act’s contributions to law enforcement and national security efforts. Expected attendees include Senator Cynthia Lummis, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, and Patrick Witt.

The letter concludes with a direct call for the Senate to pass the CLARITY Act. The bill has recently received approval from the Senate Banking Committee but is encountering significant opposition from some lawmakers and banking industry representatives.

  • Smart Money Buys HYPE Amidst Market Fear, Price Holds $70+

Smart Money Buys HYPE Amidst Market Fear, Price Holds $70+

HYPE Token Holds Strong Above $70 Amidst Market Sell-Off, Fueled by Institutional Accumulation

HYPE is currently trading above the $70 mark, a notable achievement as the broader cryptocurrency market grapples with selling pressure and pervasive uncertainty. While most digital assets have faltered in recent sessions, HYPE’s resilience above this key level is being interpreted as a significant signal. Further analysis from Arkham Intelligence has illuminated two substantial institutional transactions that provide a more concrete explanation for the token’s current price strength.

    Institutional Withdrawals Signal Confidence

Galaxy Digital, the prominent institutional digital asset firm founded by Mike Novogratz, has withdrawn 179,000 HYPE tokens, valued at approximately $12.62 million, from Coinbase within the last seven hours. This move, transferring assets from a regulated U.S. exchange to external custody, suggests a strategic decision by the firm to move tokens away from a venue conducive to immediate sales, a behavior contrary to asset distribution.

Simultaneously, a newly identified wallet, designated as 0x6436, moved another 135,824 HYPE tokens, worth roughly $9.73 million, eight hours prior. This single transaction brings the wallet’s total accumulation over the past two days to 399,730 HYPE, equating to approximately $28.92 million. This address, which appeared in the data only this week, represents a significant new institutional player.

These two separate, institutional-scale transactions, totaling over $40 million in HYPE withdrawals from exchanges, occurred within hours of each other, precisely when the wider crypto market is experiencing downward pressure. The data indicates not a slowdown, but an acceleration of accumulation, occurring at a time when most market participants are moving in the opposite direction.

HYPE Continues to Attract Institutional Capital

The prevailing market conditions amplify the significance of the Galaxy Digital and 0x6436 withdrawals beyond their monetary value. With Bitcoin losing critical support levels and Ethereum struggling below key thresholds, the assets that typically dictate market sentiment are under duress. In this environment, institutional investors, who closely monitor macroeconomic trends, are responding by accumulating HYPE rather than de-risking.

This divergence in behavior has been building since mid-May. While Bitcoin and Ethereum experienced a loss of momentum and tested lower support levels, HYPE has quietly established a pattern of relative strength, now translating into sustained outperformance against the broader altcoin market. Assets that maintain their value and achieve new all-time highs during periods when market leaders are declining often signal specific underlying demand that transcends short-term price action.

The institutional withdrawals from Coinbase serve to confirm that HYPE’s relative strength is not coincidental. The actions of Galaxy Digital and the 0x6436 wallet suggest a conviction in HYPE’s fundamentals, driven by a combination of genuine protocol utility, increasing ETF adoption, and sustained accumulation by entities like a16z. This has created an asset with a compelling investment thesis that remains robust even when Bitcoin faces headwinds. HYPE trading above $70 amidst widespread market weakness is a real-time validation of this thesis, evidenced by each institutional withdrawal.

Bulls Defend Breakout as New All-Time Highs Continue

HYPE continues to stand out as one of the strongest assets in the cryptocurrency market, demonstrating consistent outperformance despite widespread weakness across Bitcoin and most altcoins. The daily chart reveals a powerful uptrend that accelerated throughout May, culminating in a fresh all-time high near the $74 level before a modest pullback.

From a technical standpoint, the asset’s structure remains firmly bullish. HYPE is trading well above its 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day moving averages, all of which are sloping upward and exhibiting healthy bullish alignment. The 50-day moving average, currently near $48, has served as dynamic support throughout the rally, while the 100-day average around $41 underscores the extent of the current advance.

The recent breakout above the prior resistance zone between $60 and $65 triggered a significant expansion in both price and volume, confirming robust demand. Although HYPE is currently experiencing some profit-taking near its all-time highs, buyers have successfully defended the critical $70 level. Maintaining this support would keep the breakout intact and pave the way for further price discovery. The noticeable increase in volume during the latest upward move is a constructive signal, suggesting participation from institutional and whale investors rather than purely speculative retail activity. As long as HYPE remains above the $65-$70 range, the trend is likely to favor bulls. A decisive break below this zone could lead to a deeper correction toward the rising 50-day moving average, but the overall market structure for HYPE remains exceptionally strong.

  • Ethereum Tumbles Below $1,800, Bears Gain Upper Hand

Ethereum Tumbles Below $1,800, Bears Gain Upper Hand

Ethereum Price Slides Below $1,800 Amidst Bearish Sentiment

Ethereum’s price has entered a fresh downturn, trading below the critical $1,800 mark. The cryptocurrency is currently consolidating its losses in this lower range, with indicators suggesting a potential for further declines.

    Ethereum’s Downward Trajectory

Ethereum has remained firmly within a bearish zone following a significant drop below $1,840. The digital asset is now trading beneath both the $1,800 threshold and its 100-hourly Simple Moving Average. A bearish trend line has emerged on the hourly ETH/USD chart, with resistance identified at the $1,800 level, according to data from Kraken. The pair’s downward momentum could persist if it fails to reclaim the $1,880 zone.

    Over 5% Drop Recorded

Ethereum experienced a notable decline, failing to sustain its position above $1,880 and initiating a fresh downward movement, mirroring Bitcoin’s recent performance. The ETH price breached the $1,840 and $1,820 support levels, subsequently falling below $1,800. A low of $1,716 was established, and the price is now consolidating well below the 23.6% Fibonacci retracement level of the move from the $1,889 swing high to the $1,716 low.

The hourly ETH/USD chart shows a developing bearish trend line with resistance at $1,800. Ethereum is currently trading below $1,800 and the 100-hourly Simple Moving Average.

Potential for Recovery and Further Losses

Should bullish sentiment prevail and the price hold above $1,720, Ethereum might attempt a recovery. Immediate resistance is observed around the $1,780 level. The first significant resistance point is situated near $1,800, which also coincides with the 50% Fibonacci retracement level of the recent downward move. The next key resistance lies at the $1,820 level. A decisive break above $1,820 could propel the price towards the $1,850 resistance. Surpassing the $1,850 region might signal further gains in the coming days, potentially pushing Ethereum towards the $1,880 resistance zone or even $1,920 in the short term.

However, if Ethereum falters to clear the $1,850 resistance, a renewed decline could ensue. Initial support is found near the $1,720 level. The primary support zone is located around $1,700. A clear breach below this $1,700 support could drive the price towards the $1,665 support. Further losses might see the price testing the $1,640 region, with the main support potentially at $1,620.

    Technical Indicators

    • Hourly MACD: The MACD for ETH/USD is showing increasing momentum within the bearish zone.
    • Hourly RSI: The RSI for ETH/USD has fallen below the 50 level.

    Major Support Level: $1,720
    Major Resistance Level: $1,850

  • Ethereum Weakness: Final Phase Before Next Market Surge

Ethereum Weakness: Final Phase Before Next Market Surge

Ethereum is under scrutiny as one analyst suggests it may be in its final phase of weakness before a significant upward movement. This outlook is based on the cryptocurrency’s three-day chart, where traders are closely monitoring support levels amidst a period of consolidation.

    Support Levels Remain Key

According to the analysis, the current price pullback is being interpreted as a potential “final dip” within a larger uptrend. This perspective hinges on Ethereum maintaining its position within a rising channel, a pattern observed in previous market cycles. Market participants are now focused on whether the price can sustain itself above critical support levels. The analyst’s argument is built on the premise that a short-term decline can still be accommodated within a broader bullish structure. In this interpretation, the market might be shedding weaker holdings before determining its next trajectory.

    Pattern Comparison Offers Insight

The chart comparison draws parallels to earlier periods when Ethereum experienced a sequence of sideways trading, followed by a decline, and then a recovery. The presented pattern highlights instances where the asset experienced sharp drops before establishing a base and subsequently reaching new highs.

A tweet from Trader Tardigrade (@TATrader_Alan) on June 2, 2026, stated: “$ETH/3D#Ethereum is about to have its final dip — and the pattern is repeating perfectly. The structure is identical. Same breakdown. Same setup. Once this dip completes, we’re headed straight into the next explosive leg up 🚀 pic.twitter.com/PVJf9ziawc”.

This type of pattern analysis is frequently employed by traders who seek to identify recurring market behavior. While it does not guarantee identical outcomes, it can inform the interpretation of short-term price action, particularly when the market appears to be extending in a particular direction. The analysis also situates this chart work within the broader practice of examining support lines, trend channels, and historical turning points. Given Ethereum’s substantial market capitalization, it is one of the most closely watched assets in the cryptocurrency space, meaning even minor structural shifts can quickly attract attention.

    Ethereum’s Broader Context

While technical analysis is a crucial tool for evaluating cryptocurrency markets, it also has limitations. Macroeconomic shifts, regulatory changes, and fluctuations in market liquidity can all influence prices in ways that chart patterns alone cannot fully explain. Ethereum’s wider role also contributes to this outlook. The network remains central to decentralized finance, tokenization initiatives, and blockchain applications, and these uses continue to shape sentiment around the asset beyond short-term price movements.

For the moment, the prevailing sentiment is cautious yet clear: Ethereum may still face one more correction. Traders are observing whether this move occurs without breaching key support levels. If these support levels hold, the same pattern that signals weakness today could later be cited by traders as the foundation for the next upward surge.

  • XRP’s Rare Surge: A Historical Look

XRP’s Rare Surge: A Historical Look

XRP Reenters Critical Zone Preceding Major Rallies

The price of XRP has returned to a significant technical zone that has historically preceded substantial price surges, appearing only four times in its 13-year trading history. Market analyst Cryptollica highlighted this development on the social media platform X, noting that these previous instances were followed by explosive rallies, each emerging after prolonged periods of consolidation and price declines that established cycle bottoms.

Oversold RSI Zone Signals Potential for Mega Cycle Rallies

On June 1, Cryptollica announced that XRP’s monthly Relative Strength Index (RSI) had entered its fourth deep oversold reset zone. The RSI is currently hovering around 42. While this level does not yet indicate a fully oversold condition, the analyst considers it analogous to readings observed during previous major cycles.

Cryptollica pointed out that similar RSI readings occurred during the 2014, 2017, and 2022 cycles, and are now reappearing in early 2026. In each of these past instances, XRP experienced strong parabolic price increases when its monthly RSI reached oversold territory. According to the analyst’s report, this zone has served as a critical reset point for XRP, frequently marking the end of downtrends and the formation of cycle lows.

Historical Patterns Suggesting a Repeat Performance

Further examination of historical data reveals a comparable pattern in the 2013 cycle. XRP traded within a contracting triangle formation for an extended period, repeatedly testing the pattern’s lower boundary before confirming a bottom. This price floor coincided with the oversold RSI zone, which ultimately triggered a sharp breakout, propelling XRP above $0.5 and establishing a new cycle high.

A similar technical structure appears to be developing once again. Cryptollica’s analysis indicates that XRP has been trading within a long-term ascending channel since 2017, with a significant triangle pattern forming inside it. This overarching structure has largely dictated price action for nearly a decade. During this time, XRP has tested the channel’s lower boundary on three occasions, most recently after a pullback from highs near $3 in 2025.

While XRP’s price remains under pressure, it is now approaching the apex of the triangle pattern. Concurrently, the monthly RSI is aligning with lower levels, mirroring the trend observed in the 2013 cycle. The cryptocurrency has now entered the same reset zone, suggesting that a significant breakout could be imminent.

Analyst Projects Substantial Upside Targets for XRP

With the RSI reset zone now in place, Cryptollica suggests that XRP may be poised for a substantial upward movement if historical patterns hold true. The chart provided by the analyst outlines a potential breakout scenario driven by the long-term ascending channel structure.

Under this projection, the first major target for XRP is set above $14, at the upper boundary of the channel. If bullish momentum persists beyond this level, the analysis indicates that the price could extend towards $26, with a projected cycle peak reaching as high as $50.

  • US Hits Iran’s Nobitex Exchange in Crypto Crackdown

US Hits Iran’s Nobitex Exchange in Crypto Crackdown

US Sanctions Iran’s Largest Crypto Exchange Nobitex in Major ‘Economic Fury’ Crackdown

The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has imposed sanctions on Nobitex, Iran’s largest digital asset exchange, along with three other Iranian cryptocurrency platforms. This action is part of the Trump administration’s “Economic Fury” campaign, designed to intensify economic pressure on Tehran.

The Treasury’s sanctions target Nobitex, Wallex, Bitpin, and Ramzinex. U.S. officials allege that these exchanges have aided users in circumventing sanctions, facilitated financial activities connected to Iran, and processed transactions linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

In a statement released this week, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent asserted that Iran has increasingly leveraged digital asset technologies to advance its “corrupt agenda,” which includes evading sanctions and moving wealth out of the country. He added that the Treasury would continue to monitor financial activities through both traditional banking channels and digital assets as part of the administration’s broader strategy to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

According to the Treasury, Nobitex handled over 50% of all Iranian digital asset inflows in 2025 and played a pivotal role in the nation’s crypto ecosystem. The agency accused the exchange of facilitating payments related to Iran’s terrorist activities, sanctions evasion efforts, and IRGC-connected transactions, including dealings with IRGC-affiliated ransomware actors. The Treasury also alleged that Nobitex assisted the Central Bank of Iran in accessing hundreds of millions of dollars in stablecoins used to support the Iranian rial, and enabled regime insiders to access international crypto exchanges across various jurisdictions.

The Treasury stated that Nobitex helped secure and move assets out of Iran, even amidst internet blackouts that occurred from the outset of the war. In addition to sanctioning the exchange itself, OFAC designated Amir Hossein Rad, Nobitex’s chairman, co-founder, and former CEO, along with several other company leaders and officials.

The agency’s findings indicate that Rad was instrumental in restoring Nobitex’s operations following a $90 million hack that the platform experienced in June 2025.

OFAC also sanctioned Nobitex co-founders Seyed Mohammad Ali Aghamir Mohammad Ali and Seyed Mohammad Aghamir Mohammad Ali, who are reportedly members of the Kharrazi family, described by the Treasury as being part of Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei’s inner circle. Seyed Ali Khoee, the current CEO of Nobitex, was also designated.

Meanwhile, Wallex, identified as Iran’s second-largest digital asset exchange by volume, reportedly received 12% of Iranian digital asset inflows in 2025 and is alleged to have facilitated transactions linked to the IRGC. Bitpin accounted for 10% of Iranian digital asset inflows in 2025 and processed millions of dollars in transactions, including transfers purportedly connected to the IRGC. Some of Bitpin’s investors have also reportedly been linked to efforts to evade U.S. sanctions.

Ramzinex, an exchange founded in Tehran in 2018, has processed over $2.45 billion in transactions and is accused of facilitating transactions linked to the IRGC and an Iranian government-backed financial institution.
