Reflect Money Unveils Custom Stablecoins on Solana

Reflect Money Aims to Equip Every Solana App with a Custom Stablecoin

Reflect Money has unveiled a new tool designed to simplify the creation of stablecoins for applications on the Solana blockchain, aiming to transform idle digital assets into productive investments. The protocol launched its “Create” tool on October 22, 2026, enabling users and applications to deploy custom, yield-bearing stablecoins in a single transaction. The core proposition is that stablecoins sitting unused represent a missed opportunity, and Reflect believes it can put them to work.

Streamlined Stablecoin Creation

Instead of requiring issuers to build collateral systems, liquidity infrastructure, and redemption logic from scratch, Create offers a streamlined process. Issuers can select from a curated menu of collateral options, which, according to the company’s findings, include USDC+, senior tranches, and tokenized assets. Each selected option backs the new stablecoin and generates the yield that holders will earn.

Tokens minted through Create are designed for immediate integration with Solana’s decentralized exchanges, such as Jupiter and Titan. This allows newly created stablecoins to be traded from day one, avoiding the common issue of newly issued assets languishing without liquidity.

The platform also emphasizes atomic minting and redemption, meaning users can exchange their stablecoins for underlying assets or vice versa instantaneously, without queues or delays.

Turning Stablecoins into Revenue Streams

A key feature of Create is its ability for issuers to retain a portion of the yield generated by their stablecoins. This transforms stablecoins from a potential cost center into a source of revenue for the entities that launch them.

Reflect Money is not entering the market without a track record. By the time Create was launched, the protocol had already issued seven assets, boasting an average annual percentage yield of approximately 21%. The total trading volume across the platform at launch stood at $5.52 million.

Reflect’s ambition is to tap into the estimated $280 billion in stablecoin holdings that are currently earning no yield. The company characterizes its approach as “software-as-a-stablecoin,” aiming to package on-chain decentralized finance strategies into liquid yield products that offer the simplicity of a savings account rather than the complexity of a trading strategy.

A Neutral Operator

Reflect Money has been clear about its role, stating it is neither a stablecoin issuer nor a custodian. Its protocols manage risk-adjusted allocations and asset wrapping transparently on-chain, positioning the company as a neutral infrastructure provider rather than a traditional financial intermediary.

Founded in May 2024, Reflect Money’s initial objective was to address the inefficiency of idle stablecoin holdings by programmatically directing capital into DeFi opportunities while ensuring that capital remains liquid and under user control. The project gained recognition, winning Grand Champion at the 2024 Solana Radar hackathon. In September 2025, it secured $3.75 million in seed funding.

Prior to Create, Reflect’s offerings included two main products: “Earn,” which featured USDC+ and USDT+, and “Protect,” which provided yield tranches. The protocol’s infrastructure also encompasses an insurance pool for risk management and a software development kit (SDK) for developers to integrate Reflect’s functionalities into their own applications.

Create builds upon this existing foundation, with USDC+, one of the “Earn” products, now serving as a collateral option for stablecoins created by other users.

Yield Generation and Risk Mitigation

The yield generated by stablecoins on Reflect’s platform originates from underlying DeFi strategies and collateral. The reported average APY of around 21% is influenced by market conditions and the performance of the assets backing each token. Reflect states that its collateral options undergo a review process, and the insurance pool provides an additional layer of protection.

Key metrics to monitor moving forward include the adoption rate of Create by issuers, the growth in the number of assets beyond the initial seven, and the expansion of platform trading volume beyond the initial $5.52 million.
