The cryptocurrency market is navigating a period of pressure in November, with Bitcoin hovering near $75,900 and the total market capitalization around $2.57 trillion. Over the past 24 hours, the market has seen a decline of approximately 2.5%, and the Crypto Fear & Greed Index stands at 25, signaling extreme investor fear.
While Bitcoin has shown some recovery after dipping below $75,000, uncertainty persists across the altcoin sector. Investors are actively seeking potential accumulation opportunities amid the ongoing correction, with several altcoins drawing significant attention.
Canton Network Emerges as a Key Player
Canton Network is emerging as a notable altcoin to watch, driven by recent developments in tokenized financial markets. Crypto analyst Tim Warren has identified CC, Canton Network’s native token, as his top accumulation choice. He disclosed that he began acquiring the token between $0.11 and $0.12, continuing to accumulate below $0.10, and highlighted $0.09 as a critical support level due to increased buying activity around that price.
Canton is also generating interest due to plans to introduce tokenized trading of Canton Strategic Holdings (CNTN) shares on its network. This proposed trading infrastructure is designed to facilitate round-the-clock trading for approved participants, with atomic settlement ensuring that assets and payments transfer simultaneously. This development could potentially boost institutional engagement on the Canton network. It is important to note that CC is the network’s native token, while CNTN represents equity in the company, and holding CC does not confer shareholder rights.
NEAR Protocol’s Network Enhancements Drive Interest
NEAR Protocol is another altcoin capturing attention, largely due to its ongoing network upgrades and robust technical foundation. Analyst Tim Warren previously set an accumulation target of $3.70 for NEAR, and the token recently tested $3.63. He is also monitoring $3.22 as another potential buying level should the correction deepen. Warren cited historical support levels, a descending price channel, and a daily buy signal as key factors underpinning his positive outlook.
NEAR’s November developments further bolster its investment case. The Core 2.14 upgrade focuses on enhancing universal accounts, authentication infrastructure, and quantum-resistant security. This upgrade introduces on-chain verification for a standardized post-quantum signature scheme and modifies transaction fee distribution by eliminating the previous 30% gas reward returned to contracts.
Chainlink’s Institutional Adoption and Infrastructure Role
Chainlink is attracting buying interest due to its increasing institutional adoption and its foundational role in blockchain infrastructure. Warren views LINK below $11 as an attractive entry point for long-term accumulation. He had previously identified $11.17 as a buying target and is observing September lows for a potential double-bottom formation. Should LINK fall below $10, he plans to consider further accumulation.
Chainlink’s strategic position in the real-world asset (RWA) sector also supports its long-term investment thesis. Its infrastructure is crucial for connecting blockchain applications with external data and enabling tokenized assets to interface with traditional financial systems. As financial institutions increasingly explore tokenization, the demand for reliable blockchain infrastructure like Chainlink’s is poised to become a significant growth driver.
Zcash Prepares for NU7 Upgrade
Zcash is gaining traction in anticipation of its planned NU7 network upgrade, positioning it as a notable privacy-focused altcoin for November. The upgrade, scheduled for November 6, aims to significantly reduce block production time from 75 seconds to 25 seconds. This enhancement could lead to three times faster block generation and potentially shorter initial transaction confirmation times.
NU7 also introduces modifications to the network’s fee mechanism and will retire the older Sprout privacy pool. Any remaining funds in that pool will become unspendable under the new protocol rules. While the upgrade is expected to improve Zcash’s transaction infrastructure, exchange deposit times will continue to be contingent on individual platform confirmation requirements.
BNB Chain Focuses on Payment and Tokenization Improvements
BNB is another altcoin on watch as BNB Chain prepares to roll out enhancements to its payment infrastructure and tokenization capabilities. A planned November upgrade aims to reserve 5% of block capacity by default for eligible payments, creating a dedicated payment lane designed to ensure transaction capacity during periods of high network activity.
The upgrade also introduces CAKE20, a proposed token standard for stablecoins and tokenized real-world assets. This standard includes features such as verified participant lists and transfer controls, intended to support regulated financial applications. The mainnet upgrade is slated for late November, with certain features requiring separate activation and governance approvals. If adopted by payment providers and financial applications, these changes could broaden BNB Chain’s utility beyond conventional cryptocurrency transactions.
Other Notable Projects Drawing Analyst Attention
Beyond these five cryptocurrencies, three other projects have captured the attention of analysts due to their sector exposure and upcoming developments.
- Ondo Finance (ONDO): Analyst Tim Warren has identified $0.38 as a key accumulation level for ONDO. Its involvement in tokenized real-world assets and institutional partnerships makes it a prominent RWA project. However, potential future token unlocks could increase circulating supply and exert selling pressure.
- Bittensor (TAO): TAO has experienced a decline of approximately 38% from its September highs. Warren is closely monitoring $213 as a significant support level. Its exposure to decentralized AI infrastructure, coupled with a potential double-bottom formation, underpins the analyst’s interest.
- Stellar (XLM): Stellar’s upcoming Bell upgrade includes improvements to smart contract functionality and support for verifying a type of post-quantum signature. November validator milestones are expected to provide further insights into the network’s development and adoption trajectory.
Market Outlook and Investor Strategy
The recent market correction has presented potential accumulation opportunities, but it does not definitively signal that the crypto market has reached its bottom. Bitcoin’s ability to reclaim and sustain the $76,000 resistance level remains crucial for short-term market sentiment. A sustained breakout could pave the way toward $78,000, while a fall below $75,000 could expose the $73,200 area, which is near the 200-day moving average.
Tim Warren maintains a cautious stance on calling a market bottom, advocating for dollar-cost averaging into selected cryptocurrencies rather than making lump-sum investments. For altcoin investors, key factors to monitor in November include Bitcoin’s support levels, the successful execution of network upgrades, institutional adoption trends, changes in token supply dynamics, and tangible growth in blockchain activity.
