Solana’s 2024 Surge Demands Attention

Solana’s Consecutive Red Candles Spark Bullish Outlook

Crypto analyst Crypto Patel has presented a bullish outlook for Solana (SOL), urging investors to pay close attention to the cryptocurrency. This comes as SOL has recorded eight consecutive red monthly candles for the first time in its history.

A Historical Parallel for Solana

In a post on X, Crypto Patel highlighted the unprecedented streak of eight consecutive red monthly candles for Solana, emphasizing its significance. He drew a parallel to the 2021 bear market cycle, noting that while Solana experienced nine red monthly candles then, they were not consecutive. The ninth red candle in that period, he explained, marked the exact bottom at approximately $8, after SOL had fallen from its all-time high (ATH) of $260 in November 2021. Following that bear market bottom, SOL subsequently surged to a new ATH near $295 in the years that followed.

Crypto Patel observed that the current market setup for Solana appears distinct and potentially stronger. The asset has formed eight consecutive red candles, declining from a high of $253 to a low of $67, with the ninth monthly red candle now in formation. He cautioned that a definitive conclusion requires waiting for the month’s close, but suggested that historical patterns offer a potential roadmap.

Accumulation Zones and Future Price Targets

The analyst further elaborated that if the ninth candle mirrors the pattern of the previous bear cycle, it could signal a significant macro accumulation zone. He identified the $80 to $50 range as a key area to watch for accumulation should the price extend lower. Based on this historical fractal, Crypto Patel predicts that SOL could potentially rally to a new ATH, forecasting a price range between $500 and $1,000.

Expert Predicts Near-Term Dip Before Reversal

In a separate X post, crypto analyst Jack Adams expressed a strong conviction that Solana is poised to retest the $67 to $58 range before reversing to between $120 and $175 within the current year. He indicated, based on SOL/BTC and ETH charts, that this potential downturn is likely to be swift rather than a prolonged decline.

Adams also stated that a crucial monthly zone is within reach before the commencement of the next bull cycle. This assessment is informed by previous monthly wicks and areas of significant rejection earlier this year. Solana has notably experienced one of the most substantial price drops amidst Bitcoin’s ongoing decline.

At the time of reporting, Solana was trading around $70, marking a decline of over 5% in the past 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap data.
