Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit announced today that it will be adding new assets to its platform, enabling users to trade and utilize the GRAM token across several key services. The new offerings will be available starting June 24, 2026, at 8:00 AM UTC.

    New Trading and Lending Pairs

GRAM will be integrated into Bybit’s Spot Margin Trading, Crypto Loans, Savings, and Institutional Loans services.

For Spot Margin Trading, users will be able to trade GRAM against Tether (USDT), Euro (EUR), and USD Coin (USDC).

In terms of lending, GRAM will be available for Crypto Loans, where it can be used as collateral. It will also be supported for Institutional Loans and the Unified Trading Account (UTA) Borrowing.

    Functionality and Use Cases

The introduction of GRAM will expand its utility on the platform. Specifically, GRAM will function as collateral for Crypto Loans, UTA Borrowing, and Institutional Loans. Furthermore, it will be available as a borrowing asset for Crypto Loans and UTA Borrowing.

Users will be able to engage in margin trading with up to 10x leverage on trading pairs involving GRAM through their Unified Trading Account. Additionally, GRAM can be used as collateral to borrow funds for trading or withdrawals, and for securing Institutional Loans.

  • IP Collateral and Lending Discontinued

    IP Collateral and Lending Discontinued

Bybit to Delist IP as Collateral and Loan Asset

Bybit, a cryptocurrency exchange, announced it will discontinue support for IP as a collateralizable or loanable asset starting June 25, 2026, at 8:00 AM UTC.

    Planned Schedule for Changes

    June 22, 2026, 8:00 AM UTC
All borrowing and lending services involving IP will be suspended. This includes Borrowing (UTA), Crypto Loans, and Bybit Savings.

    June 25, 2026, 8:00 AM UTC
IP will no longer be accepted as collateral for Borrowing (UTA), Crypto Loans, and Institutional Loans. It also cannot be used for loan repayments.

Users with outstanding IP liabilities are required to settle them before the June 25 deadline. Failure to do so will result in automatic repayment of these liabilities, potentially leading to asset losses.

Bybit strongly advises users to adjust their margin levels before June 25, 2026, 8:00 AM UTC, if necessary. It is crucial to monitor the maintenance margin rate (MMR) and loan-to-value (LTV) ratio closely to prevent potential liquidations.

    June 26, 2026, 8:00 AM UTC
IP will be removed from Bybit Savings. The principal and accrued yield from users’ staked IP in Bybit Savings will be automatically transferred to their Funding Accounts.

Users are encouraged to initiate early redemptions of IP to avoid any potential delays.

Bybit urges its users to take note of these upcoming changes and to adjust their orders and financial strategies accordingly. The exchange expressed its appreciation for users’ understanding and cooperation during the implementation of these updates.

Binance Futures Ends Last Price Protection on HUSDT Perpetual Contract

Binance Futures to Phase Out Last Price Protected Mechanism

Binance Futures announced today that it will be discontinuing the Last Price Protected (LPP) period for its USDⓈ-Margined HUSDT Perpetual Contract. The change will see the contract’s Mark Price gradually transition from the LPP mechanism to a standard Mark Price calculation.

The transition is scheduled to commence on June 18, 2026, at 09:45 UTC. Binance anticipates the transition period could last up to three hours, depending on market volatility and the availability of a stable index price. To mitigate abrupt price fluctuations and ensure stability, the process will involve a mark price smoothing technique. Trading operations will remain unaffected throughout this period, and existing open orders and positions will not be canceled.

New Mark Price Calculation and Funding Rate Adjustments

Upon the conclusion of the LPP period, the Mark Price will be determined using the following formula:

Mark Price = Median (Price 1, Price 2, Contract Price)

Users can find the specific formulas for Price 1 and Price 2 within the Mark Price and Price Index documentation for USDⓈ-Margined Futures.

Following the end of the LPP period, the funding rate will adhere to the standard rules for perpetual futures contracts. The capped funding rate will be adjusted from the current ±0.005% to ±2.00% at 09:45 UTC on June 18, 2026.

The funding rate adjustments will occur as follows:

    • June 18, 2026, 08:00 UTC: Maximum Funding Rate: +0.005% / -0.005%
    • June 18, 2026, 12:00 UTC: Maximum Funding Rate: +2.000% / -2.000%
    • June 18, 2026, 16:00 UTC: Maximum Funding Rate: +2.000% / -2.000%
    • June 18, 2026, 20:00 UTC: Maximum Funding Rate: +2.000% / -2.000%

The funding interval will also be adjusted from every four hours to every hour once the previous funding rate settlement reaches ±2.00%.

Further details regarding trading rules, funding rate history, mark price and price index information, and Binance Futures contract specifications are available on the Binance platform.

This notice is issued under Binance Exchange Rule 17. Binance reserves the right to modify the constituents and weightage of the Price Index at its discretion. Users are advised to consult the provided page for the most current information on the Price Index.

    Risk Warning and Order Handling

During the brief 2-minute window for each trading pair’s precision adjustment, trading will be temporarily suspended. Users will be unable to perform transfers, place new orders, amend existing orders, or cancel orders for the affected pairs. Trading for other pairs will remain unaffected.

    Existing Orders:

    • Limit Orders: If an existing limit order’s decimal precision is greater than the newly adjusted trading amount precision, the order will be canceled. Orders with a decimal precision less than or equal to the adjusted precision will remain active. For instance, an order with a precision of 0.000001 would be canceled if the precision is adjusted to 0.00001, while an order with a precision of 0.00001 would not be canceled.
    • Trading Bots: Similar to limit orders, existing bot orders with a precision greater than the adjusted value will be canceled. Orders with a precision less than or equal to the new precision will not be canceled.

    * For Spot Grid and Spot DCA bots, open orders will be canceled, and the bots will be stopped.
    * For all other bot types and order types (including recurring buy, TWAP, iceberg, smart portfolio, stop, trailing stop, and trigger orders), open orders will be canceled, but the bots themselves will not be affected and will resume trading with the new precision once trading reopens.

    Adjustments to Larger Decimal Values:

If the trading amount precision is adjusted to a larger decimal value (e.g., from 0.00001 to 0.000001), existing orders will be filled according to the new, more precise trading amount.

    API Users:

For orders placed via API, if the trading amount precision is adjusted to a smaller decimal value (e.g., from 0.000001 to 0.00001), the system will automatically round down buy orders and round up sell orders to ensure successful placement. However, users will not be able to place orders using the pre-adjustment precision on the standard web and mobile interfaces.

    Order Display:

    • When precision is adjusted to smaller decimal places (e.g., 0.000001 to 0.00001):

    * Non-API users will see open and historical orders displayed with the adjusted trading amount precision.
    * API users will see open and historical orders displayed with the pre-adjustment trading amount precision.

    • When precision is adjusted to larger decimal places (e.g., 0.00001 to 0.000001):

    * Open and historical orders will be displayed with the original trading amount precision.

OKX advises users to adjust their trading strategies accordingly to mitigate any potential impact from these changes.

The exchange also reiterated a general risk warning, stating that the provided information is for educational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, or any other form of advice. Digital assets are highly speculative and volatile, and investors may lose their entire investment. OKX encourages users to conduct their own research and evaluate their risk appetite before trading.
