Analyst: XRP Logic Stagnant, Predicts $300 Rally

XRP’s Price Trajectory: A New Perspective on Market Cap Logic

XRP has largely traded below the price targets frequently discussed within its community throughout 2026. However, one prominent XRP commentator argues that these projections are being viewed through an incorrect lens. The analyst contends that XRP should not be evaluated using traditional stock market metrics, particularly if the asset functions as intended and becomes integrated into institutional settlement, liquidity routing, and high-value financial transfers.

XRP Commentator Challenges Market Cap Assumptions

Most discussions surrounding XRP’s price are anchored in market capitalization comparisons and circulating supply figures, mirroring the analytical models used for stocks. Yet, according to an XRP commentator known as CharuSan, this approach applies a static market cap logic to XRP that fundamentally misinterprets the cryptocurrency’s intended purpose.

XRP is designed to operate as a liquidity and velocity asset. Consequently, its price appreciation should not solely stem from retail investors purchasing it on exchanges. Instead, the projection is that XRP’s price will need to surge significantly if institutional systems begin utilizing it as a bridge asset for massive transfers that require deep liquidity within seconds.

CharuSan further highlighted the vast scale of global derivatives, stock markets, debt markets, DTCC volumes, FX settlement, banking operations, OTC markets, and Nostro/Vostro accounts. These sectors represent potential sources of liquidity demand if they become fully integrated with the XRP Ledger. From this perspective, a market capitalization of $500 billion or even $1 trillion would be insufficient if XRP were expected to underpin these institutional trading volumes.

The Case for XRP at $300

The analyst’s price target suggests that XRP will be mathematically compelled to reach at least $300 to facilitate the necessary financial operations. This $300 prediction is contingent upon the full integration of XRP into major financial transfer systems. Once institutional automated software and APIs begin channeling substantial transfer orders into liquidity pools, the market will no longer be primarily dictated by small exchange buy and sell orders.

In such a scenario, the critical factor would be the availability of XRP at the precise moment a transfer is required. If billions of dollars are being moved per second, institutions will not be seeking out cheap XRP on a standard order book. Instead, systems would draw from the deepest available liquidity pool, and the unit price would inevitably rise if the existing supply cannot accommodate the transfer volume.

This latest analysis is part of a series by CharuSan on how XRP could potentially reach the $300 mark. In a previous installment, the commentator focused on On-Demand Liquidity and the distinction between circulating supply and truly accessible XRP. CharuSan illustrated this with an example of a $200 billion bank transfer. If XRP were priced at $20, such a transfer would necessitate 10 billion XRP, a substantial amount that would be challenging to provide if the system were simultaneously handling not just one bank but thousands of institutions. RippleNet currently boasts over 300 banking partners, with approximately 40% actively utilizing On-Demand Liquidity.
