Binance Set to Reopen Partial Withdrawals November 1st
Binance is preparing to resume phase one of its withdrawal services on November 1, 2026, between 06:00 and 09:00 UTC. The cryptocurrency exchange reiterated that user funds remain secure throughout the ongoing incident, and Binance will absorb the financial impact of stolen funds, not its users.
Phased Withdrawal Rollout
The reopening of withdrawals will occur in stages. Phase one will enable withdrawals for a specific list of networks and assets, with availability rolling out progressively. Binance will provide further updates via its official X channel.
The initial phase will include the following network and asset pairings:
- BTC: BTC
- ETH: ETH, USDT, USDC
- BSC: BNB, USDT, USDC
- TRX: TRX, USDT
- SOL: SOL, USDT, USDC
- XRP: XRP
- ZEC: ZEC
- DOGE: DOGE
- TON: USDT, GRAM
- MATIC (Polygon): POL, USDT, USDC
- AVAXC: AVAX, USDT, USDC
- ARBITRUM: ETH, USDT, USDC, ARB
- BASE: ETH, USDC
- OP (Optimism): ETH, USDT, USDC
- SUI: SUI
Binance is implementing a phased approach, prioritizing tokens based on user demand data from the past week. This strategy aims to ensure that each network and asset pair is restored with careful attention to stability and security checks before access is fully reopened.
The listed networks and assets will become available as this first phase of withdrawals commences. Additional networks and assets will be added as they become ready. Users are advised to check the withdrawal page for their selected asset and network, or visit the network status page, to confirm availability.
Expected Delays and Monitoring
During the initial rollout, users may experience temporary delays or longer processing times due to high traffic volume. If a withdrawal for a listed network or token is unsuccessful, users are encouraged to try again after a short period, as this is anticipated during a phased rollout. Binance will continue to closely monitor network and platform performance.
Recovery Efforts Underway
During this period, Binance’s teams have been actively engaged in several key initiatives:
- Assessing withdrawal infrastructure and verifying its operational readiness.
- Collaborating with law enforcement and industry partners to trace and recover stolen funds.
- Replenishing affected assets using company resources.
- Monitoring for residual risks.
Financial Impact and Proof of Reserves
Binance’s commitment to recovery remains steadfast. The exchange has already covered approximately 90% of the impacted amount, an increase from approximately 80% in a previous update.
All balances for BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, USDC, XRP, USD1, RLUSD, and ZEC are fully backed 100%. Users can verify Binance’s proof of reserves snapshot on the PoR website.
The company continues to acquire the remaining affected assets through market and over-the-counter (OTC) channels. Binance has now covered approximately 95% of the impacted amount, up from 90% in its prior update. The outstanding 5% consists of tokens outside the top ten listed assets, which are less liquid and require more time to source at the necessary scale.
Post-Incident Report and Future Steps
Once the investigation is complete, Binance will publish a post-incident report detailing the event.
The resumption of withdrawals marks a significant milestone, but the company’s work is ongoing. Binance will continue to strengthen its safeguards, finalize the recovery process, and provide updates on its progress. The exchange’s commitment remains unchanged: Binance will bear the financial impact of the stolen funds, and these losses will not be passed on to users.
