Bybit, a cryptocurrency exchange, announced it will discontinue support for IP as a collateralizable or loanable asset starting June 25, 2026, at 8:00 AM UTC.
Planned Schedule for Changes

All borrowing and lending services involving IP will be suspended. This includes Borrowing (UTA), Crypto Loans, and Bybit Savings.

IP will no longer be accepted as collateral for Borrowing (UTA), Crypto Loans, and Institutional Loans. It also cannot be used for loan repayments.
Users with outstanding IP liabilities are required to settle them before the June 25 deadline. Failure to do so will result in automatic repayment of these liabilities, potentially leading to asset losses.
Bybit strongly advises users to adjust their margin levels before June 25, 2026, 8:00 AM UTC, if necessary. It is crucial to monitor the maintenance margin rate (MMR) and loan-to-value (LTV) ratio closely to prevent potential liquidations.
June 26, 2026, 8:00 AM UTC
IP will be removed from Bybit Savings. The principal and accrued yield from users’ staked IP in Bybit Savings will be automatically transferred to their Funding Accounts.
Users are encouraged to initiate early redemptions of IP to avoid any potential delays.
Bybit urges its users to take note of these upcoming changes and to adjust their orders and financial strategies accordingly. The exchange expressed its appreciation for users’ understanding and cooperation during the implementation of these updates.
