XRP: $1 Target or Sharp Sell-off? Analyst Cites Liquidity Signals

XRP Approaches Critical Liquidity Zone Amid Market Flush

XRP is nearing a pivotal liquidity zone following a significant market-wide cryptocurrency sell-off. Analyst Will Taylor, known on X as @CryptoinsightUK, suggests that downside liquidity has largely been absorbed, with larger pools potentially now situated above the current price. This development occurs as cryptocurrency sentiment has deteriorated sharply, with approximately $5 billion in liquidations across the market.

    XRP Navigates Long-Term Downtrend

In the latest edition of “The Weekly Insight,” Taylor characterized the current XRP structure not as an isolated altcoin decline, but as part of a broader capitulation event. He noted that Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP have all entered regions where substantial liquidity has been tapped, prompting questions about whether the market is poised for another downward move or a sharp reversal.

For XRP, a key level remains the liquidity band around the $1 mark. Taylor observed that while some downside liquidity persists in this area, it appears modest when compared to the larger liquidity pools situated above the current price. “The discussion is very similar for XRP,” Taylor wrote. “If you zoom in slightly further on the XRP liquidity chart, there is still a liquidity band sitting around the $1 area. However, when you zoom out and compare it to the larger timeframe liquidity pools above us, it becomes relatively insignificant.”

    Market Structure Under Test

This does not necessarily signal a bullish resolution for the chart. Taylor emphasized that XRP remains entrenched in a broader downtrend that has been in place since August 2025, making the current price action a critical test of market structure. A failure to regain momentum could expose the $1 liquidity band. Conversely, a successful defense of this level would bolster the argument that sellers have largely exhausted their selling pressure.

The analyst’s overarching thesis is that the market has reached a liquidity-driven inflection point. Bitcoin has absorbed key hourly downside liquidity, Ethereum has retested a trendline while clearing significant daily liquidity below its price, and XRP’s remaining lower liquidity pool appears less substantial than the pools above. In this context, the recent wave of liquidations may have sufficiently reset market positioning to pave the way for a stronger upward move.

“One positive factor is that we have just experienced a significant liquidation event, with roughly $5 billion worth of liquidations across the market,” Taylor wrote. “Historically, events of that magnitude tend to occur very close to important lows, if not directly at them. Again, that does not mean we cannot see another flush lower, a marginally lower low, or even continued downside.”

    Caution Amid Potential Transition

The analyst stressed the importance of caution, repeatedly highlighting the potential for continued volatility in the cryptocurrency market, particularly if instability in traditional equity markets spills over into digital assets. The newsletter pointed to a strengthening US Dollar Index (DXY), US 10-year Treasury yields near 4.532%, and an overextended Nasdaq as macroeconomic factors that could continue to pressure risk assets.

However, the report also suggested that the crypto market might be closer to a transition point than current sentiment indicates. Taylor posited that the next phase of the market could be defined less by widespread speculation and more by tangible utility, with institutions increasingly valuing networks based on their actual usage rather than solely on narrative.

“My view remains the same,” the analyst wrote. “I continue to believe that all of this is happening because the next phase of the market is going to be the utility phase. The institutions entering this market are not playing the same game that retail has been playing for the last decade.”

At press time, XRP was trading at $1.14.

Bitcoin Volatility Surges Amid Geopolitical Turmoil and Market Sell-off

Bitcoin (BTC/USD) experienced significant price swings, dropping below $63,000, recovering to $63,700, and then falling again following fresh Iran-Israel strikes. The turmoil was exacerbated by an 8% crash in South Korea’s KOSPI index, which triggered a circuit breaker and sent Asian stock markets tumbling. Heightened geopolitical tensions have rattled global risk assets, with the cryptocurrency market extending its losses from the previous week.

Crypto Fear & Greed Index Hits Extreme Low

The Crypto Fear & Greed Index plummeted to 8, signaling extreme fear and marking the worst sentiment in two months. Last week alone, the cryptocurrency market shed $390 billion, its most significant decline since the FTX collapse. Bitcoin (BTC/USD) fell 17%, while Ethereum (ETH) dropped 22%. Bitcoin briefly tested levels below $60,000 before a weekend rally pushed it back to the $63,000 mark.

Geopolitical Tensions and Yen Intervention Fears Impact BTC/USD

Geopolitical tensions have also driven oil prices higher and spurred safe-haven flows into the U.S. dollar. The BTC/USD pair took a hit amid concerns over potential actions by the Bank of Japan (BOJ) to defend the yen. The USD/JPY pair has climbed back above 160, a level at which Japan has historically intervened to support its currency. Such interventions typically lead to a strengthening yen and unwind carry trades, which can negatively impact risk assets like Bitcoin.

MicroStrategy Remains Committed to Bitcoin Accumulation

Despite unrealized losses, Michael Saylor, Executive Chairman of MicroStrategy, shared the company’s Bitcoin accumulation chart, suggesting it’s “a good time to add more dots.” Phuong Le, CEO of MicroStrategy, echoed Saylor’s sentiment, stating that “Rumors otherwise are just rumors.” The company continues to execute its long-term strategy of increasing its net Bitcoin holdings and Bitcoin per share, even as public companies holding Bitcoin as treasury assets lost a combined $62 billion in market capitalization during a recent downturn.

Arthur Hayes Denies Allegations of Pump-and-Dump Scheme

BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes has denied reports from LookOnChain that he repurchased HYPE tokens after a large wallet withdrawal was observed. On-chain investigator ZachXBT publicly accused Hayes of promoting and then dumping HYPE, NEAR, ZEC, and WLD in rapid succession, alleging he created exit liquidity for his followers. Hayes dismissed the accusations, stating he sells to willing buyers and shares his trades openly. The controversy has sparked debates on Crypto Twitter regarding influencer transparency.

HTX Delists Trump-Backed Stablecoin Amid Wallet Freeze Dispute

Justin Sun-linked cryptocurrency exchange HTX has delisted the Trump-backed stablecoin USD1 after World Liberty Financial reportedly froze exchange-linked wallets. HTX converted user holdings of USD1 to USDT at a 1:1 ratio and suspended related trading pairs, escalating a public dispute tied to prior sanctions and asset freezes. HTX has indicated it may pursue legal action if the wallet freeze is not reversed.

Clarity Act Advances in U.S. Senate

Senator Cynthia Lummis announced a victory as the Clarity Act passed through committee. Lawmakers are now aiming for a full Senate vote before the summer recess. However, the odds for its passage have been adjusted to 60% as the legislative timeline progresses.

Potential for Recovery Amidst Extreme Fear

Historically, periods of extreme fear in the crypto market have often preceded significant recoveries. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index readings below 10 have frequently marked local bottoms, leading to powerful rallies in Bitcoin. With corporate buyers like MicroStrategy maintaining their commitment and the potential for geopolitical noise to subside, the current market washout could pave the way for a rebound in cryptocurrency prices.

Institutional Adoption and Regulatory Clarity as Bullish Catalysts

The long-term outlook for Bitcoin remains positive, driven by increasing institutional adoption from major financial institutions and the prospect of clearer U.S. regulatory frameworks. These factors are expected to attract capital back into Bitcoin and other quality digital assets. The recent dip in BTC/USD may prove to be a final shakeout before a potential return of strength in the summer months, as extreme fear levels are unlikely to be sustainable.

  • Cardano’s Crash Reveals Deeper ADA Issue, Says Veteran Bull

Cardano’s Crash Reveals Deeper ADA Issue, Says Veteran Bull

Cardano’s Steep Decline Exposes Deeper Ecosystem Frustrations, Analyst Says

Longtime Cardano supporter and crypto commentator Dan Gambardello has stated that the recent sharp decline in ADA’s price has brought to light significant frustrations within the Cardano ecosystem. Despite these concerns, Gambardello maintains that the project’s underlying technology remains among the most robust in the cryptocurrency space.

In an extensive post on X, Gambardello framed the issue as extending beyond mere price fluctuations. He argued that Cardano’s drop of over 80% from its 2024 highs should be understood within the broader context of a widespread altcoin downturn, rather than as an indicator of the network’s failure. Nevertheless, he acknowledged that the market weakness has amplified long-standing concerns regarding ecosystem support, leadership, public perception, and Cardano’s relative isolation from the wider crypto market.

“Let me just say…Cardano is down over 80% from 2024 along with so many altcoins. It’s not because Cardano is failing. It’s because altcoins are getting demolished,” Gambardello wrote. “So please try to separate price and everything I write here. To be clear: This is not me turning against the project.”

Why Is The Cardano Price Crashing?

Gambardello reiterated his support for Cardano, expressing belief that ADA could still perform well if a broad altcoin bull market re-emerges. However, his criticism is directed at what he described as years of missed opportunities. He posited that Cardano possessed the reputation, funding, and a top-10 market position necessary to shape its own narrative and bolster its ecosystem, but failed to fully leverage these advantages.

The post garnered attention due to Gambardello’s prominent and sustained advocacy for Cardano. He recounted his transition from Litecoin to Cardano before the 2020-2021 bull market, a move he characterized as one of his most successful crypto investments. At that time, he noted, Cardano’s prospects appeared compelling with the introduction of staking, community growth, and the project’s positioning as a solution to the blockchain trilemma of scalability, decentralization, and security.

This conviction, he stated, has not diminished. Gambardello described Cardano as “a great project” with “some of the most strong fundamental tech in crypto,” asserting that “it is not game over.” However, his perspective on certain ecosystem dynamics has shifted due to the non-materialization of expected progress.

“If I’m putting it simply, it’s been frustrating over the years to see things not transpire,” he wrote. “Things that would have helped the Cardano ecosystem so much. I don’t need to go into detail, but along with many of you, I’ve voiced my opinions on these things over and over.”

Gambardello observed that Cardano has remained “very secluded” and has repeatedly experienced periods of “unnecessarily bad optics.”

    TapTools Closure Highlights Ecosystem Vulnerabilities

The immediate catalyst for his post was the recent announcement that TapTools, a widely utilized Cardano analytics and ecosystem platform, is ceasing operations. Gambardello described TapTools as “the center of Cardano” and emphasized that its closure is precisely the kind of loss the network can least afford during a challenging bear market.

His frustration stemmed not just from the project’s closure, but from what he perceived as a lack of an appropriate response. Gambardello suggested that he would have anticipated a visible effort from leadership and the community to support a critical ecosystem front-end, even if it did not involve a direct financial bailout.

“I’m not saying every great project deserves a ‘bailout’, but when Cardano’s frontend and basically its dashboard is about to close their doors, you brainstorm…and you do it with positivity,” he wrote. “Leading an L1, you round up the troops and community with clear resolve to make sure that the heart of this L1 does not need to close their doors, especially in the worst crypto bear market ever.”

Gambardello contrasted the TapTools situation with Cardano Foundation communications surrounding other initiatives, such as activities related to the Brazilian Olympics and Token2049. He suggested that while these efforts might be valuable independently, they appeared misplaced given the impending shutdown of a central Cardano platform.

“TapTools shutting down is the last thing Cardano needs right now, and it just seems like it was an ‘oh well’ moment,” he wrote. “Cardano needs to keep their best players in the game right now, and that’s not what has happened.”

The broader issue, he added, is that negative developments often escalate into public drama on X, exacerbating reputational damage. Gambardello stated that the “constant drama” surrounding Cardano has become exhausting, particularly for those who have defended the project for years. This exhaustion, he explained, contributes to his decision to diversify his content, focus, and investment portfolio over the past year.

Gambardello rejected the notion that this shift constitutes a betrayal, instead presenting it as a natural adaptation to evolving markets and risks.

At press time, ADA was trading at $0.16.

  • XRP Surges From Lows on Renewed Momentum

XRP Surges From Lows on Renewed Momentum

XRP Price Shows Signs of Recovery, Eyes Further Gains Above $1.17

XRP has initiated a recovery wave, surpassing the $1.10 and $1.1250 marks. The cryptocurrency is currently consolidating and could be poised for further upward movement if it breaks through the $1.1730 resistance level.

    XRP Price Eyes More Gains

Following a period of support above $1.050, XRP began a recovery trend, mirroring movements seen in Bitcoin and Ethereum. The digital asset managed to climb above $1.10 and $1.120, entering a short-term positive territory.

Data sourced from Kraken indicates a breakout above a bearish trend line, which had previously acted as resistance at $1.10 on the hourly chart for the XRP/USD pair. This upward momentum saw bulls push the price past the 23.6% Fibonacci retracement level of the decline from a swing high of $1.3640 to a swing low of $1.052.

Currently trading above $1.120 and the 100-hourly Simple Moving Average, XRP appears to be building on its gains. Should a fresh upward surge occur, the price may encounter resistance around the $1.1720 mark. The first significant resistance barrier is identified near $1.2080, which also coincides with the 50% Fibonacci retracement level of the same downward move. A sustained close above $1.2080 could propel XRP towards $1.2150, with the next hurdle at $1.220. A decisive move beyond this level might see XRP target the $1.2450 resistance, and further gains could push it towards $1.2620.

    Another Decline?

Conversely, if XRP fails to overcome the resistance zone at $1.1740, a fresh decline could be initiated. Initial support on the downside is observed near the $1.1250 level. The next major support is situated around $1.110. A downside break and a close below $1.110 could lead to a continued decline towards $1.080. The subsequent significant support lies in the $1.050 zone, below which XRP could potentially fall further towards the $1.00 mark.

    Technical Indicators

The hourly MACD for XRP/USD is currently gaining momentum in the bullish zone. The hourly RSI (Relative Strength Index) for XRP/USD has moved above the 50 level.

Major Support Levels: $1.1250 and $1.1200
Major Resistance Levels: $1.1740 and $1.2080

TradFi Futures Surge on Crypto Exchanges as Spot Trading Slows: CryptoQuant

In its latest report, analytics firm CryptoQuant has identified a significant increase in traditional finance (TradFi) perpetual futures activity on cryptocurrency exchanges, even as demand for Bitcoin (BTC) shows signs of contraction. Despite this apparent dip in Bitcoin demand, the size of BTC trades suggests continued robust institutional engagement.

According to the report, this surge in TradFi perpetual futures trading is most evident on crypto exchanges, with Gate and Binance emerging as frontrunners. Many exchanges are reportedly expanding their offerings beyond cryptocurrencies to include trading in precious metals.

CryptoQuant attributes the rise in TradFi perpetual futures activity to growing demand for gold, silver, and oil, fueled by geopolitical tensions between the U.S. and Iran. This trend highlights an increasing convergence between traditional and crypto markets, with participants now utilizing crypto exchanges to access broader macro asset classes.

Gate is leading this crypto-TradFi convergence, recording $368 billion in TradFi perpetual futures volume. Combined with Binance’s $298 billion, these two exchanges have processed approximately two-thirds of all TradFi futures trading volume year-to-date. While other exchanges such as MEXC, Bitget, and Bybit also hold market share, Gate maintains its leading position through investments in tokenized stocks, metals, 24/7 derivatives markets, and indices.

“As gold and silver prices reached record highs amid persistent inflation concerns, global equities rallied to new highs driven by AI-related optimism, and oil prices surged following heightened geopolitical tensions between the United States and Iran, traders increasingly turned to crypto exchanges to gain exposure through 24/7 markets,” the analysts stated.

Concurrently with the spike in TradFi futures activity, spot trading volumes on centralized exchanges have declined. In April 2026, this metric fell to $679 billion, its lowest point since October 2023, reflecting a general slowdown in activity attributed to the bear market. Perpetual futures volumes have also decreased, indicating a contraction in leverage appetite. Notably, Binance, Bybit, Gate, and Crypto.com rank as the top platforms by cumulative spot volume for 2026 so far.

Interestingly, Bitcoin liquidity remains concentrated on a select group of exchanges. Binance and Gate dominate spot market depth, while Gate, Hyperliquid, Binance, OKX, and Bitget lead in perpetual futures liquidity.

Gate also stands out for institutional BTC activity, as evidenced by Bitcoin trade sizes on both spot and futures markets. The exchange reports the highest average Bitcoin spot trade size at $4,000, following a peak of $6,200 per trade last year. In the perpetual futures market, Gate also leads with an average trade size of $8,900, continuing a growth trend that began last year.

  • Grok AI Predicts Massive XRP Surge in 28 Days

Grok AI Predicts Massive XRP Surge in 28 Days

Grok AI Forecasts Significant XRP Price Surge, Citing Short Squeeze Potential

Grok AI, the artificial intelligence developed by Elon Musk, has issued a bullish forecast for XRP, predicting a potential surge to between $1.55 and $1.75 by early July. This base-case scenario is bolstered by the possibility of a short squeeze, which could propel XRP prices to $1.60-$1.80 once Bitcoin stabilizes and heavily shorted positions are forced to cover.

The AI’s reasoning centers on the notion that XRP’s recent price decline, mirroring Bitcoin’s pullback, is driven by macroeconomic factors rather than fundamental weaknesses. The advancement of the CLARITY Act through the Senate Banking Committee is identified as a key regulatory catalyst poised to alter institutional perceptions.

Furthermore, growing interest in cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs) is seen as building a demand infrastructure, while Ripple’s expanding institutional use cases continue to develop in the background, irrespective of short-term price fluctuations. These underlying positive developments have not diminished during the recent sell-off, suggesting that the gap between XRP’s current price and its fundamental value has widened.

The short squeeze mechanics are a particularly compelling aspect of Grok’s prediction. A substantial build-up of short positions during the recent downturn means that a stabilization in Bitcoin’s price could trigger forced buybacks from leveraged short sellers, accelerating XRP’s upward momentum beyond what organic buying alone could achieve. Grok AI highlights this mechanical setup as the primary driver for its targeted price range, rather than solely relying on new market entrants.

Bearish Outlook and Current Price Action

Conversely, the daily chart analysis suggests a potential bearish scenario. Prolonged weakness in Bitcoin or regulatory delays could lead XRP to retest the $1.00-$1.05 range before any significant recovery. From its current trading price of $1.13, this represents a decline of only 5% to 11%, a move that could occur within a single adverse macroeconomic session.

XRP is currently trading around $1.132 on the daily chart, with a session low of $1.091. This $1.09 print marks the lowest price XRP has seen since before the November 2024 breakout that initiated a broader institutional repricing narrative. The recovery from $1.09 back to $1.132 within the same session mirrors a pattern of intraday capitulation and subsequent recovery observed during previous meaningful market events, making it a critical piece of current price action.

A broader view of the daily chart, extending back to June 2025, illustrates XRP’s price trajectory, including peaks of $3.70 in July and $3.40 in November, followed by a steady decline. The current price of $1.13, with intraday lows testing the $1.00-$1.05 zone identified by Grok AI as a potential bear case floor, is significant. While this zone has not yet been breached on a daily closing basis, the recent low of $1.091 came close enough to warrant attention.

The structural floor at approximately $1.20, which has held since February, has now been broken on a closing basis. Below this, the $1.00 level represents the last significant psychological barrier before XRP fully prices out its post-settlement premium. From the current close of $1.132, this level is less than 12% away.

Path to Recovery and Market Dynamics

For any recovery narrative to gain credibility, reclaiming $1.20 on a daily closing basis is the initial requirement. Above that, the $1.40 level, where XRP spent much of March through May before the recent breakdown, would be the first indicator that the short squeeze predicted by Grok AI is indeed underway.

Experienced traders understand that success in market cycles often comes from anticipating movements rather than waiting for resistance levels to break based on external decisions.

Major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP are currently facing similar resistance bands, with macroeconomic relief and institutional inflows appearing to be perpetually just out of reach. This creates a visible, albeit static, upside ceiling for these established assets.

In contrast, early-stage infrastructure projects operate differently. Their smaller market capitalization means that even modest capital inflows, which would be negligible for larger cryptocurrencies, can generate significant price movements. Returns in these markets are often driven by the discrepancy between a project’s intrinsic value and its current market valuation, a gap that exists when a project remains undiscovered.

LiquidChain: A Potential Disruptor in DeFi

The fragmentation of multi-chain ecosystems presents a significant and costly structural problem in decentralized finance (DeFi). The current architecture, with isolated liquidity infrastructures for networks like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, necessitates expensive and often unreliable cross-chain transactions. Fees, slippage, and failed transactions are common, with bridges acting as workarounds rather than fundamental solutions.

LiquidChain aims to eliminate this need for workarounds by collapsing these disparate networks into a single execution layer. This would enable one deployment for full ecosystem access, without the “cross-chain tax” on every interaction.

The LiquidChain presale is currently priced at $0.01454, having raised over $820,000. While the project offers the potential for significant returns, its execution and adoption remain unproven, carrying inherent risks. Established assets may offer a more predictable path to a capped upside, whereas LiquidChain represents an opportunity in an as-yet-undefined market.

XRP Surge to $30? Veteran Trader Sees Prime Entry Point

XRP Price Surge Potential Hinges on Bitcoin’s Ascent to $250K by 2027-2028

XRP could be poised for one of its most significant price rallies to date, though investors might need to exercise considerable patience, with the potential surge not expected until late 2027 or even 2028.

    A Long Road Ahead

This outlook comes from market analyst Dr. Cat, who recently identified $1.034 as a strategic long-term buying opportunity for the cryptocurrency. According to the analyst, this price point aligns with a robust Ichimoku Cloud support zone on trading charts, presenting a favorable risk-to-reward scenario for those willing to wait.

The target price Dr. Cat projects, $30, would represent a staggering gain of approximately 2,600% from XRP’s recent low of $1.09. Such an increase would place it among the most substantial price movements in the token’s history.

    The Numbers Behind the Forecast

However, this ambitious forecast is contingent on several critical factors. Dr. Cat’s model assumes XRP would need to trade at around 12,000 satoshis against Bitcoin, while simultaneously, Bitcoin itself would need to reach approximately $250,000. Both conditions must be met for the $30 price target to materialize.

The analyst also cautioned that the path to this target will likely be turbulent. If Bitcoin experiences a significant downturn, XRP could see a further 50% decline from its current levels, a risk Dr. Cat acknowledges despite his bullish long-term view. His analysis of higher timeframes suggests that XRP’s next major expansion phase may not commence before September 2027, implying a potentially lengthy period of consolidation for early buyers before substantial upward momentum takes hold.

    XRP’s Recent Slide

This projection comes against the backdrop of XRP’s recent market performance. Data from Coingecko indicates that XRP has declined 18% over the past week, 20% in the last month, and 38% year-to-date. From its all-time high of $3.65, the token has lost over 60% of its value.

The broader cryptocurrency market has also contributed to XRP’s decline. XRP fell to $1.09 during a sharp market correction that also saw Bitcoin drop to around $59,000, after trading above $70,000 just days prior.

    A Pattern Some Analysts Recognize

Some within the XRP community interpret the current sell-off through a different lens. Analyst Digital Outlook has drawn parallels between the present market conditions and the period following the SEC’s lawsuit against Ripple in December 2020. Reports from that time indicate XRP dropped to approximately $0.17 after the filing, only to surge past $1.96 by April 2021 as market sentiment shifted, marking a gain of over 1,000%.

While a repeat of history is far from guaranteed, Dr. Cat maintains that the $1.034 zone remains his critical support level. He believes this area offers long-term buyers a solid foundation, even if the wait for significant price appreciation proves to be extended.

  • Ethereum Recovers After $1.5K Collapse

    Ethereum Recovers After $1.5K Collapse

Ethereum’s recent price plunge, which saw the cryptocurrency hit a 14-month low of $1,500 on Friday, has been a source of concern for investors. This downturn follows a period of extreme volatility and comes amid lingering uncertainty, including rumors on X (formerly Twitter) that ConsenSys co-founder Joseph Lubin might be selling his holdings.

    Market Rebound Signals

Despite the recent sharp decline, some technical indicators suggest a potential rebound for Ethereum. The TD Sequential indicator, a tool used to identify asset exhaustion, has flashed a buy signal on Ethereum’s daily chart, according to analyst Ali Martinez.

Furthermore, Ethereum’s performance against Bitcoin (BTC) presents another potential opportunity. ETH recently dropped to 0.026 against BTC during Friday’s market-wide crash. Analyst Michaël van de Poppe views this as a strategic accumulation point, particularly as short-term yields may be peaking and a vote on the CLARITY Act is anticipated.

Van de Poppe tweeted, “There we go, 0.026 has been reached. This is the area where I think accumulating $ETH is a wise strategy, especially since: – Yields are likely peaking in the short-term. – Clarity Act vote is around the corner. The latter one is a ‘Sell the rumor, buy the news’ type of event.”

    Investor Accumulation Trends

Beyond technical analysis, on-chain data indicates that various investor types are re-entering the market. An early Ethereum whale, who had previously sold holdings above $2,000, has reportedly purchased $56 million worth of ETH at prices below $1,570. Additionally, a wallet associated with Chun Wang has accumulated over $28.5 million in ETH, according to data from Lookonchain.

Intriguingly, the anonymous hacker responsible for the Pando Rings attack has also been observed accumulating ETH. This individual reportedly spent 10 million DAI to acquire 6,234 ETH at approximately $1,602.

Lookonchain highlighted this activity, tweeting, “Even the hacker is buying the $ETH dip. The Pando Rings hacker spent 10M $DAI to buy 6,243 $ETH at $1,602 just 6 hours ago.”

XRP Recovers From Multi-Year Lows Amid Analyst Optimism for Major Rally

The cryptocurrency market experienced a significant downturn on Friday, with digital assets across the board seeing sharp declines. Ripple’s cross-border token, XRP, was not spared, plummeting to $1.05, a level not seen in approximately 19 months.

However, XRP has demonstrated a swift recovery. Earlier today, the token approached the $1.20 mark, encountering some resistance and subsequent selling pressure. As of press time, XRP had settled at $1.13, still representing a 5% gain on the day and having successfully retested several key support levels.

Despite this impressive rebound from recent lows, prominent analyst EGRAG CRYPTO has cautioned that the broader market structure remains challenging for bullish sentiment in the short term. The analyst suggests that XRP might still be navigating the final stages of a deeper correction before its anticipated rally can begin.

EGRAG CRYPTO highlighted a recurring pattern observed across previous market cycles, specifically concerning the interaction between the 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) and the 100-day EMA on higher timeframes. Historically, when XRP decisively falls below the 50 EMA on the monthly chart, it has often triggered a cascade of events: a loss of momentum, a price breakdown, emotional capitulation among investors, and ultimately, a final liquidity sweep towards the 100 EMA.

According to EGRAG CRYPTO, this historical sequence appears to be unfolding currently, with XRP’s trajectory still leaning towards the downside as the market seeks its ultimate macro bottom. If past patterns hold true, Ripple’s token could face further downward pressure before completing this cycle’s “capitulation phase.”

The analyst views this period as a necessary, albeit painful, precursor to a more substantial rally for XRP. Rather than attempting to pinpoint an exact bottom, which has historically proven to be an elusive endeavor, EGRAG CRYPTO emphasizes that the entry price will be less significant once XRP experiences its anticipated surge. Whether investors enter at $1.10, $0.92, or even lower levels like $0.70, the long-term gains are expected to overshadow these entry points.

EGRAG CRYPTO’s macro price targets for XRP begin with a more conservative range of $7 to $8, with potential for significantly higher figures, including $13 or even “mid-double digits.”

The analyst offered a strategic perspective: “Trying to catch the perfect bottom is one of the fastest ways to miss the entire macro move. That’s why I focus on: Position building, Liquidity management, Probability zones, Macro structure, And Not ego.”
