  • XRP Dips 8% as Whales Buy 71 Million Tokens

XRP Dips 8% as Whales Buy 71 Million Tokens

On-chain data indicates that XRP whales have significantly increased their holdings over the past week, accumulating 71 million coins even as the asset’s price declined.

    Whale Activity and Market Sentiment

Analyst Ali Martinez recently highlighted this trend in a post on X, focusing on the supply held by large XRP holders, often referred to as “whales.” These entities, possessing substantial XRP holdings, can exert considerable influence on the market. Their actions, while not always directly impacting the asset’s price, often reflect the prevailing sentiment among these major investors.

The behavior of these whales is tracked through various metrics, including their holdings. A chart shared by Martinez illustrates the recent expansion of XRP whale holdings. Over the past week, these large investors have added over 71 million XRP tokens, currently valued at approximately $97.8 million, to their portfolios. This accumulation occurred while the asset’s price decreased by over 8% during the same period. This timing suggests that these major players may view the price dip as a buying opportunity. Whether this strategy will prove successful remains to be seen.

    Potential for Price Volatility

In a separate X post, Martinez suggested that XRP may be poised for a volatile move. He pointed to the Bollinger Bands indicator, a tool used to gauge an asset’s volatility. The indicator comprises a 20-day moving average (MA) central line and two bands representing standard deviations above and below it.

The chart shows that the Bollinger Bands have recently tightened around the 3-day XRP price, indicating a period of stagnant price action. Martinez noted that the current squeeze is the tightest in over a year. He stated, “When volatility compresses this tightly, it’s a signal that a violent price expansion is approaching.”

    XRP Price Overview

XRP briefly surpassed the $0.54 mark a week ago, but the price has since retreated, currently trading around $1.37.

Nexpace Launches NXPC Buyback to Boost MapleStory Ecosystem

Nexpace Launches $10 Million NXPC Buyback Program

Abu Dhabi, UAE – May 22nd, 2026 – Nexpace, the Abu Dhabi-based blockchain company behind MapleStory Universe (MSU), today announced a buyback program for its native token, NXPC, valued at up to $10 million. The initiative aims to strengthen the token’s circulation structure and support the long-term sustainability of the MSU ecosystem.

NXPC is the utility token within MSU, the blockchain-integrated expansion of Nexon’s popular MapleStory intellectual property. It facilitates user engagement through rewards and item unlocks.

    Program Details

Nexpace will purchase up to $10 million worth of NXPC on global digital asset exchanges through open market operations. To mitigate potential market impact, the purchases will be executed in multiple tranches over a three-month period and managed by an external execution partner.

    Rationale and Performance

The buyback program is informed by insights gathered during MSU’s first year of operation. Over the past year, more than 850,000 wallets have engaged with the platform, with approximately two-thirds utilizing NXPC monthly. This activity has generated 49.1 million NXPC in ecosystem revenue, equivalent to $31 million. By the first quarter of 2026, player spending surpassed distributed rewards, indicating robust organic engagement within the ecosystem.

Combined with the 8.32 million NXPC already burned, the buyback program is designed to support healthy token circulation as MSU evolves into a broader IP-driven ecosystem. It also reinforces the long-term alignment of NXPC for active participants and contributors.

    Executive Commentary

Sun Young Hwang, Chief Executive Officer at Nexpace, stated, “As MapleStory Universe continues to evolve, our focus remains on building an ecosystem where participation and utility remain closely connected. This program reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting healthier long-term ecosystem dynamics as engagement continues to grow. Year one gave us confidence that we are on the right path, and we want to ensure long-term users, builders, and contributors are meaningfully rewarded for what they help build.”

NXPC acquired through the program will be retained within the treasury to support the long-term sustainability of the ecosystem.

  • Analyst Predicts XRP to Capture 31% of Crypto Market.

Analyst Predicts XRP to Capture 31% of Crypto Market.

XRP’s Market Dominance Shows Bullish Structure, Analyst Says

Crypto analyst Will Taylor, known as Cryptoinsightuk on X, believes XRP’s market capitalization dominance still indicates a bullish structure, despite its recent pullback from a key range high. His latest chart of XRP.D suggests a potential long-term move toward 31.26% dominance, significantly above the current level near 3.315%.

Taylor’s analysis focuses on market structure rather than short-term sentiment. The chart shows XRP dominance holding above a major horizontal level around 3.315% after breaking out from a multi-year range and failing to fully clear the 6.127% area. The weekly setup then compresses into a descending wedge, with Taylor suggesting the retracement has not invalidated the broader breakout.

“As I look at $XRP.D, I still struggle to feel bearish here,” Taylor wrote. “What I think we’re seeing is: a completed Wyckoff accumulation, a breakout above the major 3.315% resistance, a failed attempt to fully break through the 6.127% range high, then a pullback into a compressed descending wedge.”

The Path to 31% Market Dominance for XRP

The chart identifies 6.127% as the next major range high, while 31.26% is marked as a possible upside objective. This implies a significant expansion in XRP’s share of the total crypto market if the analyst’s continuation thesis plays out. This doesn’t necessarily require XRP to rise in isolation; dominance can also increase if XRP outperforms other major crypto assets during a broader rotation.

Taylor’s analysis centers on the behavior after the failed push through 6.127%. Rather than viewing the rejection as evidence of distribution, he describes the current structure as compression. He believes a decisive bearish breakdown would likely exhibit stronger downside momentum and heavier sell pressure.

“To me, that matters,” he said. “Because descending wedges are often reversal / continuation structures, especially when they’re paired with diminishing volume. If sellers were truly in control, I’d expect to see expanding downside volatility and aggressive sell volume, not compression.”

The chart also includes the Relative Strength Index (RSI), which has been trending lower alongside price compression. Taylor argues this does not represent a full structural breakdown. Instead, the indicator appears to be compressing in its own downtrend while XRP dominance holds above the breakout zone. This distinction is central to his thesis. A market that breaks out, rejects at a higher resistance, then consolidates above former resistance can still be considered constructive, provided the former breakout level is defended. In this case, the 3.315% zone is the key reference point. A sustained loss of that area would weaken the continuation argument, while a breakout from the wedge could bring the 6.127% range high back into focus.

    The Wyckoff Thesis

The Wyckoff labels on Taylor’s chart are central to the bullish reading. The structure marks a long accumulation sequence beginning with preliminary support, or PS, followed by a selling climax and secondary test around the 2020–2021 lows. The subsequent automatic rally, secondary test, and “spring” are presented as the base-building phase before XRP dominance reclaimed higher ground.

From there, the chart identifies a move over the “creek,” a Wyckoff term often used to describe the transition out of an accumulation range, followed by a sign of strength near the 6.127% range high. The latest pullback is labeled as an LPS, or last point of support, which in Wyckoff analysis is typically watched as a potential higher-low area before continuation. That makes the 31.26% marker more than a loose upside arrow in Taylor’s framing. The chart is effectively arguing that XRP dominance has moved from accumulation into markup, with the current descending wedge serving as a possible consolidation above the breakout zone rather than evidence of failed demand. The bullish case depends on that LPS interpretation holding; if the structure breaks back below the reclaimed 3.315% level, the Wyckoff continuation thesis would become harder to defend.

Taylor also framed the setup as one that may need a catalyst. “It honestly feels like XRP dominance is waiting for a catalyst before attempting another move higher,” he wrote. “I know this goes against a lot of current sentiment and market interpretation, but I’d genuinely love to hear the bearish argument from here structurally, because right now I still see more signs pointing toward bullish continuation than full distribution.”

The 31.26% marker gives the chart its most striking implication, but the nearer technical question is whether XRP dominance can continue to hold the reclaimed 3.315% level and resolve the wedge to the upside. For now, Taylor’s read is clear: the structure has pulled back, but in his view, it has not yet broken.

  • DeepSeek Develops Claude Code, Backed by Beijing.

DeepSeek Develops Claude Code, Backed by Beijing.

DeepSeek Enters the Agentic Coding Arena

DeepSeek, the Chinese AI lab spun out of the quantitative investment firm High-Flyer, is assembling a new team to develop “Code Harness,” an agentic coding tool designed to directly challenge Anthropic’s Claude Code and OpenAI’s Codex. The announcement came from DeepSeek engineer Deli Chen, who posted two job listings on X this week seeking a product manager and an R&D engineer. Both positions are based in Beijing.

The company’s requirement for employees to be based in Beijing, rather than other tech hubs like Hangzhou or Shenzhen, underscores the city’s significance as the symbolic and political center of China’s technological ambitions. Beijing is also where the government’s relationship with the AI industry is most direct and closely monitored by Washington.

“You can call it DeepSeek Code or something,” Chen wrote in the post, accompanied by laughing emojis.

The job listings, also posted on High-Flyer’s recruitment platform, are unusually transparent about DeepSeek’s goals. The team’s internal formula is “Model + Harness = Agent.” The product manager role specifically requires experience with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Manus, and OpenClaw, indicating DeepSeek’s intention to compete with these established agentic tools. Salary details for both positions were not disclosed.

Agentic coding tools, which autonomously plan, write, test, and debug software projects, have become a key battleground in the AI industry. DeepSeek aims to capitalize on this trend.

DeepSeek possesses a notable advantage: its latest model, DeepSeek V4, already functions natively within Claude Code. The V4 lineup, released on April 24, includes V4 Flash, optimized for speed and handling agentic tasks at $0.14 per million input tokens, and V4 Pro, the more capable tier, priced at $0.435 per million tokens during an introductory promotion ending May 31. In comparison, Anthropic’s flagship model, Claude Opus 4.7, costs $15 per million input tokens. This price difference could be significant for teams using continuous, loop-intensive agent pipelines.

The development of Code Harness is about controlling the entire user experience. By building a harness, DeepSeek would manage the interface developers use, including checkpoints, terminal commands, rollback features, and integrations. This is where user loyalty is established, and where revenue is likely to follow.

DeepSeek has a history of downplaying its capabilities before delivering significant results. When it released R1 in January 2025, the reasoning model caused a nearly $600 billion drop in Nvidia’s market capitalization, as it matched OpenAI’s o1 at a lower cost. Despite initial skepticism, DeepSeek has continued to innovate.

No launch date has been announced for Code Harness.

  • Nvidia Earnings Top Estimates, Stock Falls; BofA Recommends Buying

Nvidia Earnings Top Estimates, Stock Falls; BofA Recommends Buying

Nvidia just reported its most profitable quarter ever, yet its stock price declined. This pattern has emerged, with the chipmaker’s shares falling after three of its last four earnings calls, despite consistently strong financial results.

Bank of America remains optimistic, however. Lead analyst Vivek Arya and his team reiterated their “buy” rating yesterday, designating Nvidia as a top pick and increasing their price target from $320 to $350. This suggests a potential 56.6% increase from the current price of $223.47.

The investment note’s headline read: “Beat/raise speaks volumes, ignore noise, buy top pick.”

    Decoding the Jargon

For those unfamiliar with Wall Street terminology, a “beat” signifies that a company’s earnings exceeded analysts’ predictions. A “raise” indicates that the company’s guidance, or forecast for the following quarter, also surpassed expectations. When both occur simultaneously, it typically signals very positive news. Bank of America advises investors to disregard the stock’s recent correction, which they consider “noise.”

    Record-Breaking Quarter

Nvidia’s first-quarter revenue reached a record $81.6 billion, an 85% increase year-over-year and a 20% rise from the previous quarter. Analysts had anticipated approximately $79.1 billion. Nvidia exceeded this by 3.1%, or roughly $2.5 billion, in a single quarter. To put it in perspective, the prior quarter’s revenue was already a record at $68.1 billion. Nvidia added $13.5 billion on top of that within three months.

The primary driver behind this growth is data centers, the large-scale server facilities that power AI models, cloud computing, and much of the internet.

Data center revenue alone reached $75.2 billion, up 92% year-over-year. This figure is almost evenly split between major cloud providers like Amazon and Microsoft, and a rapidly expanding group of AI companies, factories, and industrial clients.

Adjusted earnings per share were $1.87, surpassing the $1.73 analysts had predicted. The gross margin, representing the revenue remaining after production costs, remained at 75%. Free cash flow for the quarter, reflecting the actual cash generated by the company after all expenses, reached $48.6 billion. During the earnings call, Jensen Huang commented, “Agentic AI has arrived, doing productive work, generating real value and scaling rapidly.”

Agentic AI is currently a major topic of discussion on Wall Street.

    Market Growth and Nvidia’s Position

The core argument centers on the size and growth rate of the market Nvidia is targeting.

Bank of America previously estimated the total AI market at $1.7 trillion. They now project it to quadruple, exceeding $3 trillion by 2030. Within this market, they anticipate Nvidia will hold approximately 78% of the AI accelerator market, which comprises chips specifically designed for AI workloads. This essentially gives Nvidia a near-monopoly in what Bank of America considers the fastest-growing technology market they have ever tracked.

The bank also recently upgraded its assessment of a newer opportunity. Nvidia is entering the agentic CPU chip market, which involves processors designed for AI agents, software capable of autonomously performing complex tasks without human intervention. Bank of America increased its estimate for this market from $125 billion to $200 billion, and states that Nvidia has already secured $20 billion in demand for the second half of this fiscal year.

The demand is not speculative. Customer purchase commitments totaled $145 billion this quarter, up from $95 billion just three months prior. AWS alone has committed to deploying approximately 1 million Nvidia GPUs through 2027. These are contractual agreements, not projections.

    Risks and Considerations

Bank of America identifies six formal risks. Two are particularly relevant for those holding or considering Nvidia stock.

The first is the stock’s own substantial presence in the market. Nvidia now accounts for 8.3% of the S&P 500 index, the benchmark that tracks the 500 largest public companies in America. Approximately 78% of active fund managers already own the stock. With such a high level of ownership, there are fewer potential new buyers to drive the price higher.

The second risk involves custom chips. Major hyperscale cloud companies like Google, which recently launched its eighth-generation AI chips specifically designed to reduce reliance on Nvidia, are investing heavily in in-house alternatives. Bank of America counters that Nvidia is still expected to maintain over 70% of the accelerator market long-term, arguing that full-platform support and AI factory infrastructure are difficult for custom chips to replicate.

There is also a recurring criticism that Nvidia’s investments in companies like OpenAI and Anthropic, as a vendor selling them chips, constitute circular spending.

    Financial Projections

Bank of America raised its earnings-per-share estimates by 9% for fiscal year 2027 (to $9.09) and 15% for fiscal year 2028 (to $13.27). In other words, Nvidia earned $4.55 per share last fiscal year. Bank of America expects that to roughly double to $9.09 this year, then reach $13.27 the following year. Earnings per share growing at 43% annually is rare for any company, especially one already valued at $5.5 trillion.

At its current price, Nvidia trades at 19.7 times its estimated 2027 earnings. A metric that adjusts the P/E for growth rate, where lower is better, sits at 0.5x against a Mag-7 average of 3.9x.

Free cash flow is projected to increase from $96.7 billion last fiscal year to $186.8 billion in 2027 and $282 billion in 2028. The company also increased its quarterly dividend 25-fold, from $0.01 to $0.25 per share, and announced an additional $80 billion share buyback authorization, bringing the total repurchase capacity to roughly $120 billion.

The $350 price target is based on 26x estimated 2027 earnings, within Nvidia’s historical range of 25x to 56x. The next significant event is CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote at Computex on June 1, where Bank of America anticipates he will detail Nvidia’s agentic AI roadmap and CPU strategy.

Kraken Granted VARA License, Eyes Dubai Launch

Kraken, the cryptocurrency exchange, announced on Thursday that it has received regulatory approval to operate in Dubai. Its parent company, Payward, obtained preliminary broker-dealer and investment management authorization from the emirate’s Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA).

    Services Offered

The authorization allows Kraken to offer virtual asset services to both retail and professional investors in Dubai, according to a company statement. The exchange will provide clients in the United Arab Emirates with spot and margin trading, over-the-counter services, staking, crypto transfers, and access to its institutional platform, Kraken Prime.

UAE traders will have access to Kraken’s global order books across Europe, the United States, and Asia-Pacific markets. Customers can fund accounts and make withdrawals in dirhams through Payward FZCO, the locally regulated subsidiary.

The company plans to expand its Dubai offerings to include derivatives, lending, and new investment products for qualified clients.

    Executive Commentary

“Dubai wrote a rulebook for crypto before most jurisdictions even acknowledged the asset class,” said Arjun Sethi, Co-CEO of Payward and Kraken, in a statement. “That clarity is why real liquidity and institutional capital now sit in the UAE. Operating under VARA puts Kraken inside that perimeter, serving clients through a local, supervised entity rather than from offshore.”

Sethi contrasted Dubai’s framework with other markets. “Clients in the UAE get the same order book, the same balance sheet, and the same multi-asset coverage we run in every other market,” Sethi said. “The difference is that the rulebook is written down and the supervisor is local.”

    Dubai’s Regulatory Framework

Dubai established VARA in 2022 to regulate digital asset businesses, creating one of the world’s most comprehensive crypto frameworks. The authority has since licensed major exchanges, including Binance, Crypto.com, and OKX, as the emirate builds its position as a Middle Eastern crypto hub.

VARA’s licensing categories cover trading, custody, and advisory services. The framework has attracted firms seeking regulatory clarity amid uncertainty in other jurisdictions, with institutional players particularly drawn to the defined operational requirements.

    Recent Developments

Kraken joins several crypto firms recently navigating Dubai’s regulatory landscape. Ripple gained VARA approval for its RLUSD stablecoin earlier this year, while Animoca Brands secured a license as the authority tightened oversight measures. The regulator has also demonstrated enforcement capabilities, ordering KuCoin in March to cease services to Dubai residents for operating without proper authorization.

Kraken filed last November for a still-pending U.S. IPO after raising $800 million in fresh funding at a $20 billion valuation. Payward also recently filed for a national trust bank charter from the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

  • Grok AI Predicts Gold Price Surge by 2026

Grok AI Predicts Gold Price Surge by 2026

    Gold Price Surge Predicted

The price of gold has risen dramatically, from $3,300 to $5,400 per ounce in less than a year, yet many still perceive it as a conservative investment. Grok AI has analyzed this trend and forecasts further gains, predicting a rise to between $5,500 and $6,300 per ounce by the end of 2026. This projection comes after the precious metal has already broken numerous historical records.

    Factors Driving the Bullish Outlook

Grok’s optimistic outlook is not solely based on market anxieties but also on a fundamental shift in demand, particularly from central banks. These institutions have been steadily increasing their gold reserves for years, purchasing over 800 tonnes annually, a pace that has not slowed despite record-high prices. This is not speculative buying but rather strategic allocation of sovereign wealth, driven by a trend of de-dollarization that shows no signs of reversing.

Additional factors supporting this demand include geopolitical risks, high global debt levels, and fiscal uncertainties. Furthermore, inflows into emerging market ETFs are boosting both retail and institutional demand from economies that have historically under-invested in gold.

Simultaneously, constrained mine supply limits the ability of production to respond to rising prices, further tightening the market as demand accelerates. Grok emphasizes that the price increase from $3,300 to $4,500 was driven by these same factors, and the projected rise to $6,300 is a continuation of this multi-year trend.

Potential Risks and Bear Case Scenario

The bearish scenario hinges on three simultaneous developments: a sharp decline in inflation, which would reduce the need for gold as a safe haven; a significant strengthening of the U.S. dollar, which could redirect global capital flows; and a slowdown in central bank purchases, which would weaken the institutional demand. Grok acknowledges these risks but believes that even in such a scenario, the broader reallocation trend would provide substantial support, maintaining a bullish bias. The bear case would likely result in consolidation towards $4,000 to $4,400, rather than a reversal of the trend.

Technical Analysis and Key Price Levels

Currently, the spot price of gold is trading at $4,510. The chart displays a strong upward trend over the past 14 months. After a period of sideways movement between $3,000 and $3,400 in early 2025, the price surged in September 2025, reaching $5,600 by February 2026, a 65% increase in five months.

The current pullback from $5,600 to $4,510 represents the first significant correction since the breakout. The $4,400 to $4,600 range, where consolidation occurred before the final push to $5,600, is a critical support zone. Grok’s bear case floor of $4,000 to $4,400 lies just below this zone. Whether this support holds will determine if the current pattern is a bull flag reset or a more serious correction.

Resistance levels are at $4,800 to $4,900, where multiple rejections occurred during the March and April consolidation phase. Further resistance is at $5,200, with the February peak of $5,600 needing to be surpassed before Grok’s target zone of $5,500 to $6,300 can be realized.

Grok’s forecast of $6,300 by year-end hinges on the $4,400 support level holding.

Analyst: SUI Is Undervalued in Crypto

SUI’s Potential Overlooked Amidst Price Decline, Analyst Argues

According to analyst Michaël van de Poppe, SUI may be one of the more overlooked large-cap crypto setups in the current market. He contends that the network’s institutional, stablecoin, and technical advancements have been overshadowed by a significant drop in the token’s price.

In a post on X, van de Poppe noted that market attention has been heavily focused on SUI’s decline from $5.35 to approximately $0.90. However, he argued that a broader infrastructure buildout has continued in the background. His analysis suggests that the market may be underpricing the extent to which institutional infrastructure, liquidity channels, and protocol-level upgrades have developed during the downturn. “SUI is one of the most under-discussed setups in crypto right now,” van de Poppe wrote. “While everyone was watching the price drop from $5.35 to ~$0.90, this is what was actually being built.”

He pointed to several key developments, including the listing of a fifth spot crypto ETP in February 2026, the launch of CME futures, and the introduction of three US staking ETFs from Grayscale, Canary Capital, and 21Shares. Van de Poppe also highlighted Nasdaq-listed SUIG staking its full 108.7 million SUI treasury, the launch of USDsui through Stripe’s Bridge subsidiary, cumulative stablecoin transfers crossing $1 trillion in March, Hashi going live with native BTC collateral with over 20 institutions committing on day one, and the Mysticeti consensus upgrade, which increased checkpoints per second from one to four.

    Infrastructure Development Challenges Negative Sentiment

Van de Poppe believes these developments challenge the view that Sui risks fading into irrelevance after a major price correction. “This is not a narrative chain. This is rails being laid. That’s why arguing that the chain becomes a ghost chain doesn’t make sense at all,” he wrote. “Every chain has had the same impact since October 10th, which destroyed all the markets.”

Beyond the headline institutional developments, van de Poppe emphasized the importance of the three US staking ETFs. He cited 232 million total users, 1.5 billion cumulative transactions, a roughly $500 million stablecoin baseline that held through the drawdown in total value locked, and consistent network revenue since launch.

The decline in Total Value Locked (TVL) was a central point in his argument. According to van de Poppe, Sui’s TVL fell from $2 billion to $500 million. However, the underlying asset also dropped by about 70% during the same period. He framed this as a crucial distinction for investors assessing whether the ecosystem experienced significant capital flight or if the drawdown was primarily tied to the token’s lower market price. “The overall TVL has dropped substantially, with a slight caveat,” he wrote. “The TVL dropped from $2 billion to $500M. In the same period, the underlying asset dropped by 70%.”

His conclusion was that the decline should not be interpreted as a simple exodus from the ecosystem. “That means there wasn’t any money flowing out of the ecosystem; in fact, the underlying value just dropped,” van de Poppe said. “Additionally, the ecosystem’s reduced activity is simply due to the markets being destroyed as a whole, as confidence needs to be rebuilt.”

    Bullish Divergence Signals Accumulation

Van de Poppe also included a SUI/BTC daily chart, suggesting that the pair is showing signs of accumulation after a prolonged decline. The chart indicates a bullish divergence into the recent lows, followed by a sharp upward movement and a subsequent pullback into what he described as a mean-reversion area. The SUI/BTC pair is currently trading near 0.000136 BTC, with an accumulation zone highlighted below the current level and a potential resistance zone much higher, around the 0.000207 BTC region.

The annotated setup suggests that van de Poppe is monitoring whether the recent pullback will hold as a base after the breakout attempt. “The chart looks great for accumulation purposes. They announced many updates to the protocol last week as they keep shipping,” he wrote. “Technically, the bullish divergence on the Bitcoin pairs looks strong and valid, suggesting more upside for SUI.” He added that the move has already seen an initial breakout, followed by a pullback that he characterized as part of the setup rather than a negation of it. “Yes, they have already had a breakout, and this has come back down because it’s a mean-reversion play,” van de Poppe said. “However, this is the area where you’d want to look for accumulations on those protocols, and I personally think it is an attractive one to look at.”

At the time of this report, SUI was trading at $1.0896.

  • Gemini AI Predicts Soaring XRP Price by June 2026

Gemini AI Predicts Soaring XRP Price by June 2026

    XRP Price Prediction

XRP is currently trading at $1.37, but recent developments suggest a potential price surge, according to predictions from Google’s Gemini AI. Gemini forecasts a price range of $1.80 to $2.50 by the end of June 2026. This prediction is based on specific catalysts that have recently emerged.

    Key Catalysts

Gemini’s analysis highlights two key events that it believes have not yet been fully reflected in XRP’s price. The first is a U.S. Executive Order that accelerates the review of Federal payment accounts for digital asset non-banks, potentially benefiting Ripple’s institutional partners. The second is SBI Holdings’ filing for Japan’s first spot XRP ETF, which could open a new avenue for institutional demand from the world’s third-largest economy. Gemini argues that these developments are shifting XRP’s narrative from a speculative token to a regulated global settlement layer, leading to increased institutional on-chain volume.

    Bearish Scenario

The analysis also considers a bearish scenario. XRP has faced technical resistance between $1.40 and $1.45. If the broader crypto market experiences a macroeconomic downturn or if regulatory approvals face delays, the price could fall to test support levels between $1.10 and $1.30.

    Technical Analysis

XRP’s price has been under sustained selling pressure for the past 10 months, dropping from $3.70 to its current level. While a recovery has occurred since the February crash to $1.20, the price has struggled to break through the $1.50 to $1.55 resistance zone. Gemini’s target requires a break above this resistance level, which has been tested unsuccessfully multiple times. A daily close above $1.55 could trigger a move towards $1.80, followed by potential targets at $2.00 and $2.40 to $2.50.

    Market Context

The current price of $1.37 is close to the lower end of the support band, indicating that the downside risk is structurally closer than the upside target. Gemini’s prediction sets a deadline of June 30 to validate its forecast.

    Emerging Opportunities

The article also touches upon the broader market dynamics, suggesting that the current environment is ripe for identifying the next significant opportunity. It highlights LiquidChain, a project aiming to create a bridge layer that connects different blockchain ecosystems. The presale price is currently at $0.01454, with just over $700,000 raised.

ETFs Surge in First Week, Timing Called “Perfect”

Two newly launched U.S.-based exchange-traded funds (ETFs) linked to Hyperliquid’s HYPE token are experiencing strong early momentum, with trading activity continuing to rise since their market debut.

    Trading Volume Surges

According to data from SoSoValue, 21Shares’ THYP and Bitwise Asset Management’s BHYP have generated nearly $41 million in combined trading volume since launching earlier this month.

Commenting on the rapid growth in activity, Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas noted that both funds recorded another 50% increase in trading volume on Wednesday alone. In a post on X, Balchunas described the launches as “perfectly timed,” adding that most major asset classes, including stocks, bonds, gold, Bitcoin, and the broader crypto market, have declined recently. HYPE, however, has climbed 37% since THYP launched on May 12.

Balchunas also stated that the steady increase in trading activity during the funds’ first week is “rare” for new ETFs, which often see initial excitement fade quickly after launch. 21Shares was the first issuer to launch a HYPE-linked ETF in the U.S. with THYP on May 12, attracting $1.2 million in net inflows. BHYP followed on May 14 with $750,000 in net inflows and has continued trending upward since its launch.

    Institutional Interest

Grayscale Investments also entered the race for a Hyperliquid-linked investment product after filing for a HYPE ETF in March. The proposed fund is still under review by U.S. regulators. Meanwhile, blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain reported that wallets linked to Grayscale bought and staked 510,387 HYPE tokens worth approximately $24.95 million over the past week.

A wallet linked to Galaxy Digital also purchased 158,100 HYPE, valued at around $8.8 million.

    HYPE Token Performance

Looking at the broader picture, HYPE has gained nearly 40% so far this month, pushing its year-to-date returns to almost 123%. Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan recently described the platform as one of the most important crypto projects to emerge in recent years. He also believes that investors still underestimate both its long-term impact and the value of the HYPE token.

Hougan said Hyperliquid has evolved beyond a crypto perpetual futures exchange into a financial “super-app” offering exposure to commodities, S&P 500 futures, pre-IPO stocks, and prediction markets. The executive added that nearly half of the platform’s trading volume now comes from non-crypto assets and could rise further by the end of the year.
